We live in a highly developed world nowadays,and our society is becoming more and more prosperous.The cost,nevertheless,is extremely high.While our society is expanding at a high speed,the forests are disappearing,the rivers are being polluted,and the atmosphere is not clean any more.We simply pursue wealth by destroying our own home.I definitely suggest that our governments should pay more attention on dealing with natural environment problems than that on economic developments.
        First of all,as we all know,environment is the basis of human development.The environment provides us with sunshine,water,food and so forth,on which we survive,and is naturally the basis of the economy.The whole earth is an integrated ecosystem,in which we live,work and study.We are merely a small part of it,on the other hand,all of our actions aren't able to escape from its control.If we want to keep flourishing,the requist is a moderate environment.It's not hard to recall how many amazing kingdoms and cultures were destroied for polluting the environment in ancient time.
        Moreover,to some extent the environment is unrecoverable.Unlike the economy,lots of elements of the environment once be destroied or used up,they just can't reverse.For instance,mine is an fundamental resources for human development,which provide us with energy power.But,unfortunately,its capacity is limited,that means,once we use it up,there will be no more such resources can be generated.I heard of many villages in my country,who built numerous plants to develop its industry but let them release pulluted substance into the rivers.After a few years,the area around the plant became uninhabitable for people there,and just can't restore or the cost of which is too high to afford.By contrary,the economy maybe sometimes develop at a high speed or the speed may slow down sometimes,but as long as wo work hard,we can make it keep growing.
         Finally,the environment is the basis of the economy.There is no doubt that the environment directly decides the development of the economy.The environment provides food to people,who are the labors meet the need of economy,also the environment supplies all kinds of resources to factories to support the economy.The economy would collapse once the environment is  destroied.
        Based on the above facts,I think the governments should convert part of its effort to deal with environment problems from economic issues.
