Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The ability to cooperate with other well is more important today than in the past. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. （03/04/07）
The ability to cooperate with other is regarded as an elementary skill since the ancient times. With the advent of more advanced technology and economy, this ability shows its extraordinary significance that surpassing that in the past gradually. Modern society advocates people to cooperate with others during working and studying.

Cooperation helps people to accomplish a big project more easily. As all known, most of the talents in current society are specializing in one major. However, a big project in their position always needs several techniques to complete collaboratively. Different people have different specialties, they play different roles in a project, they exert different functions in teamwork. Thus, the ability to cooperate seems to be vital, which determines whether the project can be done smoothly. For example, a great movie needs not only good actors and actresses and their superb acting skills, but also superior director, photographer, studio manager and all staff and their laborious working and processing, we finally have the chance to appreciate a sensational artwork. Apparently, a good teamwork makes achievements.

The ability of cooperating makes people improve the efficiency of completing a task. It is a high efficiency society and people who are more efficient and productive obtain more profit. People who are in a low efficient will be eliminated by the society in the future. Therefore, cooperation is essential in this community which is base on the ability of cooperating. A good teamwork makes high profit, but a good teamwork needs the ability of cooperating.

The ability of cooperation is benefit for innovation. You know, if a firm intends to have a stable position in this competitive society, it should innovate and appeal consumers. Nevertheless, individual’s ideas are terminate. However, if each person comes up with some ideas, a team can get mass of ideas. They can select the best theory or an integrated conclusion to make innovation and increase the profit. For example, lots of companies promote the method called brain storm, which needs staff state out their own opinions to acquire the superior consequence and make some innovations to attain the final goal of raising profit. Of course there is a premise that everyone should have the ability to cooperate with others which helps to gain the prospective purpose.

The society is advancing with the times. The condition of past time does not require the ability to cooperate with other. In contrast, this capability is required everywhere currently. Transparently, the ability to cooperate with others well is more important today than in the past.
