With great changes in our everyday life, we are busy dealing with our personal things from day to night, keeping a cool heart to other people and other things saying they are not affect out life. But we forget that we live in a world as a whole, and every one is connected with each other in some way. As to this issue, in my opinion, it is really important to pay attention to the events happening around the earth, though they may little affect our daily life.
Primarily, it is hard to say that a thing happened in other place is unlikely to affect our daily life. With more advanced transportation and communications system, the world is more like a big family and things are easily connected with our life. For example, it seems not related to my life if the other country is involved in a terrible war, but may be tomorrow, I just find out one of my schoolmates was in that country for a Master's degree, of course, the war is easily affected my life and I will concern the news everyday. So,not a thing is unlinked to our life, but we failed in finding the relationships.
Secondly, from the events of other countries or places, we can know the world better, which is helpful in making decisions of ourselves. Like we want to travel to a place, and the news said there is flooding in that city and we may delay our plan. To a larger scene, each tiny decision is related with the world trend, from our clothes color to our financing plan, by knowing the big background of the world and the policies of my country or more related questions ,we can make decisions better and dealing with things well.
Thirdly, we are all human beings and we can not live alone. We know the disasters happening in other place and showing our sympathy and may be donating our money to help the people. It is a human natural and one can not separate himself or herself from others. The world is a big family, that is to say, other people are our relatives. No matter how far they are, they connected with us and surely, we should do our best to help them. So, I do think concerning the events of the whole world is an obligation for us because we are all human beings and we are together.
Admittedly, we live in a connecting world which every thing is related with our life, directly or indirectly. So, it is important to concern the events happening out of our life, they did not affect us apparently, they did have great impacts on our life.
