Postdoctoral Scholar and Graduate Student
Positions for a postdoctoral fellow and a graduate student are
available to study synaptic plasticity in Drosophila. In this NIHsponsored
project, we will study ubiquitin-dependent signaling in
synapse development and function. The experimental techniques
we will utilize and hence the training experiences include molecular
genetics, biochemistry, electrophysiology, electron microscopy,
and optical imaging.
Postdoctoral applicants should have a recent (0-2 years)
doctorate in molecular genetics or cell biology or biochemistry.
Prior experiences in fly genetics are highly desirable but not
necessary. The postdoctoral position starts immediately and lasts
up to at least 3 years. Interested individuals should email a cover
