原文的出题处如下：The hypothalamus appears to be involved in this inborn reaction pattern: electrical stimulation of part of the hypothalamus triggers stereotypical aggressive behaviors in many animals.

OG上也是选3，说因为2不是evidence是support3的。可是2多明显啊，这又不是最后那个总结题，难道还分Minor还是major? 为虾米是3？？想了一个晚上，还是不懂。

这道题的确很变态。 但是请楼主记住IBT阅读的两个黄金法则：第一是优先使用排除法做题。原理是很多正确选项的改写不大容易一眼就看出来，都有些朦胧，但是错误选项却很明显的一下子就能看出来。 混，反，偏，无。 所以排除法能较容易的排除三个选项，最后留下正确选项。   另外一个法则就是正确选项必须是原文某句话的精确改写（这个原则尤其适用于细节题型）


比较一下：electrical stimulation of part of the hypothalamus triggers stereotypical aggressive behaviors in many animals.  （把这个句子精简后就是：electrical stimulation triggers aggressive heboviors in many animals.)

  这个选项错误就错在不是原文的精确改写。   artificial 和 electrical 完全不是一回事。 请看artificial在M-W中的解释：

看到了吧。 artificial 是明确说有人为参与的非自然因素的意思。但是原文直说电信号刺激，没有提是否人为因素。所以属于选项的局部偏差，这个选项可以候选，然后看第三个选项。

正确选项的另外一个特点就是通常在精确改写的前提下，高度概括或者抽象概括说明原文中的对应句子 counterpart sentence.     如果不能对正确选项的这种特点适应（需要时间去训练提升，因为这种敏感是一种能力，建立在熟能生巧上的一种能力），那么最保险快速的方法就是研究错误选项是怎么错的，练习排除法做题。IBT阅读和国内阅读考试不一样。 4个选项中，其他三个错误选项特别明显，虽然正确选项看着朦胧些，但是错误选项不朦胧明显错误。这时候退而求其次的选那个朦胧选项就是正确的。  



练习方法：老托福阅读和真题23篇，把做过的题目，尤其是这种类型题目原文句子和正确选项都抄录到一个本子上，没事的时候拿出来看。不停重复的看，每次一边看，一边想这种改写原则，用心去体会，看的多了。体会的深了，有了题感就好了。
