Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is more important for students to understand ideas and concepts than to learn facts. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Although some, holding this belief that students should draw more attention to facts than inner comprehension of theories, claim that they are supposed to spend valuable time obtaining a knowledge of vast quantities of fruits of scientific researches in order to keep pace with the demand in our society where everyone seems to be lack of time and energy, in my opinion, understanding of ideas and concepts benefits students from these aspects of the  stimulation of the independent ability to create, the adoption of the efficient method of learning, and the acquisition of the useful capacity of the practical skills.
Initially, one issue which encourages me to maintain this opinion is that  the comprehension of theories stimulates  individual's power to create. There is a limit to the amount of creative talent available in the world where many books, filled of boring conclusion with a little detailed demonstration , to a large extent, consume large quantities of creative work. However, we can cultivate our creative ability through the process of learning the inner recognition of the completion, because everything in the world have mysterious relations with each other, so we may aquire amazing inspiration in exploring and result to a novel profit.
To back up my point, it would be relevant to include another cause that we can adopt the efficient method of learning. As we understand, we remember it. Let us consider the theory of mathematics, for instance. If we even do not know how derivate a formula and where it  comes from, how can we easily utilize it to solve any problems which are related to this formula?As a result, the process of derivation provides efficient methods to address difficult and different items.
Lending further credence to my opinion is that the underding of ideals and concepts acquisite the capacity of practical skills as well. During the exploring we can develop our enrichment of experience. With the rapid improvement of technology and economy, not only the high-tech knowledge is indispensable, there is no doubt that for recruiters, the practical skills of individuals are also the standards to candidates.
As the reasons presented above,I highlight my belief that it is more important for students to understand ideals and concepts than to learn facts in this enlightened age and progressive societies.Only in this way, can our students meet the needs of world.
