What is the goal of education ?Students go to school aiming at learning knowledge ,gaining ability so as to make better life or contribute to the society in the future .So whether students truly grasp knowledge or strengthen their ability are the criterion of whether the education is truly effective .According to this ,some would stress that when individual needs and interests of each student are met the education will be effective .But I would like to argue that there are other factors playing important roles in education such as one's elementary knowledge and talent.

It is undoubted that one's needs and interests can stimulate his or her study in certain field and at the same time the quality of teaching is improved. Albert Einstein's well-known words "Interest is the best teacher" emphasize the significance of one's interest in education .If one is fed up with a course ,he or she will not make much efforts in learning it or just cancel the course ,not to mention further study .Some choose courses to meet their need in certain area .For instance ,in order to apply for a master or PhD's degree different from his or her formal major ,one have to take some courses related to the major applied and the same situation may be found in job hunting .So it is quiet normal for students to spend more time in the courses appealing or useful and all the choices make up the way to success in their opinion .

However ,just like foundation is important to a skyscraper ,root is important to a tree ,students' elementary knowledge is determining their achievement in the future to some extent .Take physics for example ,we know that as a physics major ,one has to learn mathematics in the first one or two years in college even if he is not willing to .Why should physics major take such a long time to do so ?Close related is the two subjects and mathematics build up the basic of physics .Many famous physicists like Isaac Newton also do well in mathematics .To achieve a lot in physics learning without necessary knowledge of mathematics seems impossible and the effect of education will not be as expected .The same reason can explain why one’s education in school begins with basic subjects like English and math and students do not have much option in their early years at school .Before we design a skyscraper with creativity ,we should build a solid foundation .

To add up ,one's talent can also influence the quality of education .Chinese great educator Confucius insist "to teach students according to their aptitude ."We have to acknowledge that everybody has advantages and shortcomings ,and one may not know what they are .Unwisely determined ,students will not make the most of their ability .Many baseball players dream of being a pitcher at the begining of their career ,but most of them do not have the talent a pitcher need .If they keep on training as a pitcher ,they cannot even be a member in the bull pen ,let alone a successful career ,but well trained one may be a starter as a outfielder .It is undeniable that facts are not always equal to ideals so we cannot ignore the impact of one's talent on education .

In summary ,although the influence of needs and interests of each students on education is significant ,we cannot regard them as the only criterion of whether or not certain method of education is truly effective as there is more factors to make sense .So ,we should take all the factors into count and only in the way can we make the best of education .

这里是充分利用的意思，应该可以这么表达吧。

这里两个都做形容词应该可以。

两门学科有密切关系，这里用了倒装，不知道可不可以这么说，is是要改成are

dream of 是梦想的意思，这里应该可以这么用

首先，说一点我对论证上的疑问，倒数第二段说的是一个人的资质也会影响到教育的有效性，我怎么觉得跟反驳题目的观点没有什么联系呢？题目中说“只有满足学生兴趣的教育才是有效的”，所以我觉得题目限定讨论的是教育的目的和方式，谈到学生的资质好像就说到了影响教育的因素，是不是有点远了？咱们再讨论讨论吧。
