As the old saying goes” children are the future of the society"回去这句话在翻译一下, it is never overrated that children determine the society's destiny on a large scale. A better society should involve two aspects, also, the degree how children are socialized consists of two diverse aspects too.

How we define a "better" life? Different people may have manifest controversy on this topic. If we define the advanced technology and abundant wealth as "better", the socialization should be the most efficient measure to attain the prosperity and make the future of people more hopeful. As a production of industrial Revolution, the socialization make everyone as a gear of the social machine, which makes significant promotion of work efficiency, easy but pale communication between people. The employees are willing to exhaust themselves around a space maybe only 4 square meters totally,
from 9 am to 5 pm everyday, just for the cooperation conception they have been infused from their childhood. The socialization surely prompt our efficiency and enrich our creature comfort.

However, if we define a "better" society as more comfort and more leisure time, the socialization should be a opposite to our ideal society. From ancient time to present day, the level of technology and substance undergone a large advance, but as the accelerating pace of life the socialization has brought to us ,
we have a smaller leisure time for our families and friends. On the weekends, we do our extra work overtime instead of going on a journey with our families as we did before; during the weekday, we do our work day after day, but do we really feel
better than before? In respect of people's virtual world and emotional conditions, the socialization is a devil without the question which deprive us of leisure time and innermost comfort. As the socialization is a sword with two edges, how should we tackle it when it comes to education of the children?

On the one hand, the children who absolutely conform to the principle of socialization will be more efficient, however, due to their respect of efficiency, hardly can they pay attention to the inequity such as the gap between the rich and the poor, which is, to a large extent, brought about by the process of socialization. What does the socialization bring about to our society? The modern capitalist system makes ones with high efficiency more stronger whilst renders ones with poor effiency weaker. If it is good to teach our next generation more jungle laws rather than humanity for a better life, socialization wins.

On the other hand, how a child is socialized both determines his or her own destiny and the society's future. If a child is too solitude and isolated to engage himself into the peers, he or she may become a victim of socialization. Neither can he benefit from the cooperation nor can he enjoy the loneliness innermost himself.(这一段不想发挥了)

To sum up, the socialization determines the future of society, for it prompts the product efficiency while deprive our free control of time, the former makes us enjoy a better substantial life, but the latter makes us anxiety and trembling. How children are socialized today actually determines the destiny of society, both for good and for bad. The problem is we cannot easily teach children the merits and demerits of socialization, so, too much socialized or too poor socialized children are both deleterious. We should do two things for a better society: on the one hand, admit and utilize socialization but decrease the side effect it inherently; on the other hand, we should teach our children the merits and demerits of socialization, and make sure they will not
be prone to either side exceedingly. Moderate socialization would be helpful to make a harmonious society.

A better society should involve two aspects, also, the degree how children are socialized consists of two diverse aspects too.(感觉这句话不是太好，采用这样句子的结构，前面半句最起码应该是一个众所周知的事实，否则我个人觉得就没有什么价值。一个好的社会包含两方面是什么我不清楚。)
个人感觉第一段切题不是太好，只是在强调孩子的重要性，而不是讨论How children are socialized重要与否

   这个issue 的关键是位于unfortunately 之后的那句话,是在说社会化（因为socialize还有合群化）的重要性，并道出了还没教会孩子们如何构建社会。

   同志们，  你们觉得应从什么地方下手呢？
   可以先说孩子进行社会化重要的原因。
    再说现在社会存在的一系列问题，当然是关于教育孩子的了。 比如：  片面的评价孩子、  填鸭式的教学、单打独斗而不是合作。

可能是你的理解跟我有所不同啊，我只是觉得你讨论的好像是关于社会化大生产方面的，所以当时就觉得你的有问题！请包涵啊:)
