Mostof people, whose ages are about 20, do not have sisters or brothers. They arethe only child in their families. That is due to a policy to keep thepopulation from being too large in China, which begin to be effectiveabout 20 years ago . So these young people rarely have sisters or brothers toplay or communicate with. While their parents have more than one sisters orbrothers.
As a result, the extendedfamily, such as cousins
seems much moreimportant now. Because they become close people, we will choose to communicatewith.

When Iwas young, my parents usually take me to my aunty home to spend our weekends.And I enjoyed my time with my cousin there. We may walk in the pathway with thebeautiful sunset, talk about the interesting things we met in the school, orcycling along the avenue. As time goes by, I have to declare that my cousinbecomes one of my best
friends and anvery important person in my life. Nowadays when I am upset, I will call mycousin and tell him the problem. And most of my friends and classmates agreethat cousins play an important role in their lives. To some extent, this isbecause most of us do have brothers and sisters like our parents while at thesame time we need to communicate with others. So cousins stand out in front ofus.
Andgrandparents are also important to us. In my family, as my parents are busywith working, when I was in elementary school, my grandma
live with us and prepared the meals for mealmost everyday. At the same time she taught me some morale disciplines by whatshe did, which are essential to the growth of me.

As faras I am concerned, aunts are crucial to me. One of my aunts is very successfulin business. And she sets a good example for my family especially for me.
Somepeople may argue that, the communication among them and their extended familyare vaning. Because the accelerating pace of lives and the fierce competition, makethem had to focus on the job, and being lack of time with their families, letalone the extended family. In the contrary, I think that can not be the excuse,and we need to contact with our extended family more, which can both strengthenthe relationships and relieve the pressure from the jobs.
