Many of the world's lesser-known languages are being lost asfewer and fewer people speak them. The governments of countries in which theselanguages are spoken should act to prevent such languages from becoming extinct.
我认为题目的第一句只是陈述了一个事实,第二句的重点是:whether it is the government’s duty。
The speaker makes a claim that the governments of countries where lesser known languages are spoken should prevent these languages from being extinct. I agree insofar as the importance of a language should never be ignored, and should be always emphasized within its culture. However, I think whether it is the duty of the local government to protect the languages should be decided as situation requires.
On the one hand, it is never too late to cherish the value of a language. As we all known, languages represent cultural heritages. No matter how popular a language is, the essence of its culture was recorded and developed by that language. We understand our culture naturally if we know that language well. For example, we never have a formal course called “Culture study” in elementary school or middle school, but we understand our own culture even if we are teenagers. The concept of a culture was always delivered by the language learning process. We naturally are the culture heir when we learn a language.
A native language is also a culture heritage per se. This specific culture heritage gives us a sense of identity every time when we use it. For instance, when I speak Chinese, I always describe things by way of what Chinese culture shapes the thing, which makes me feel I am a Chinese.
Moreover,an indigenous language shapes distinct mode of thinking. It represents a special way to understand the world and categorize things of the people who are speaking it. To some extent, some lesser-known language may have the unique ways to describe things reflecting the observation of their speakers. For instance, Eskimo has nearly one thousand ways to describe snow in their language. We have to say that they are experts on knowing snow. I think if someone has the ability to categorize one thing into such multiple ways, he is likely good at probing questions and focusing on details. Another example is that the characters of Chinese language are like drawing pictures; therefore,it is well-known that Chinese people are good at imaginal thinking.
As discussed above, preserving indigenous languages will definitely keep the diversity of the world. Thus it is the diversity that makes the permanent development of human society.
In sum, in terms of the value of an indigenous language, I assert that governments of developed countries that the social resources are guaranteed and the usage would not influence their living should do their utmost to protect languages from being extinct. But if it is the underdeveloped countries that should use resources on more practical developments would best resort to UNESCO or other related organizations to seek help to protect those languages in danger of extinction.

On the one hand, it is never too late to cherish the value of a language. As we all known, languages represent cultural heritages. No matter how popular a language is, the essence of its culture was recorded and developed by that language. 这个No matter what 的潜台词是 popular languages 更代表the essence of the culture还是 less popular ones更代表? We understand our culture naturally if we know that
Language, well, for example, we never have a formal course called “Culture study” in elementary school or middle school, but we understand our own culture even if we are teenagers. The concept of a culture was always delivered by the language learning process. We naturally are the culture heir when we learn a language标志一下论点句.
A native language is also a culture heritage per se没看懂这是什么意思-_-. This specific culture heritage gives us a sense of identity every time when这个when去掉貌似更舒服一点 we use it. For instance, when I speak Chinese, I always describe things by way of what Chinese culture shapes the thing, shape用得好!which makes me feel I am a Chinese.
Moreover, an indigenous language shapes distinct mode of thinking. It represents a special way to understand the world and categorize things of the people who are speaking it. To some extent, some lesser-known language may have the unique ways to describe things reflecting the observation of their speakers. For instance, Eskimo has nearly one thousand ways to describe snow in their language很简单但是很生动,对很多人来说却很难想到. We have to say that they are experts on knowing snow. I think if someone has the ability to categorize one thing into such multiple ways, he is likely good at probing questions and focusing on details. Another example is that the characters of Chinese language are like drawing pictures; therefore, it is well-known that Chinese people are good at imaginable thinking.
As discussed above, preserving indigenous languages我不知道这里用这样的表达来形容这些语言是不是合适,总之感觉表意不清 will definitely keep the diversity of the world. Thus it is the diversity that makes the permanent development of human society.
In sum, in terms of the value of an indigenous language, I assert that governments of developed countries that the social resources are guaranteed and the usage would not influence their living should do their utmost赞,是我绝对用try/ their best-_- to protect languages from being extinct. But if it is the underdeveloped countries that should use resources on more practical developments would best resort to UNESCO or other related organizations to seek help to protect those languages in danger of extinction.
