Job description: research assistant, with opportunity to transfer to a PhD program with studentship (covering fee+stipend) if demonstrated ability to do research.

Research focus: database management and data mining with emphasis on graph data (e.g., social networks, web graphs, bio-informatics data, chemical data, etc).

Starting date: August 2009
Duration: 0.5 year to 1 year

Requirements:
- Good academic records in computer science and mathematics subjects
- Good knowledge in data structure and algorithmic design
- Good programming skills (C/C++)
