People swing their arms when they walk. But did you ever wonder WHY? Does it help us keep balance? Is it a relic from our revolutionary(-->evolutionary) pass(-->past)? Is it because we look like duphiouses(-->doofuses) if we don't?
Now a report in the Real(-->Royal) Society Journal Biological Sciences suggests that we swing our arms while walking in part because it takes less energy than it would to stop. Since people don't walk on all fours, it's not clear why we pump our arms when we pick up our feet. And studies have shown that it does require some muscles to do it. Those limes(-->limbs) don't just sway passively like a pendulum. So there must be some benefit.
To find out, scientists studied walking robots and human volunteers who walked normally or with their hands secured to theirs sides.
And they found that for people on the go, strolling with their arms stramped(-->strapped) down took 12 percent more energy than just letting them fly. Swinging the arms also offset the scissoring of the legs, saving even more energy. So next time you go for a walk, don't forget those arms ,cause they(-->it) don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing.

People swing their arms when they are(删) walk, but to and why(but did you ever wonder why)? Does it help us keep our balance? Is it relative(a relic) from our evolutionary past? Or(is it) because we look like dufersis(doofuses) if we do not? Now we are(a) report in the royal society journal biological sciences, suggests that we swing our arms when we are walking(while walking) in part, because it takes less energy than it would to stop.

Since people do not walk on our forth(all fours), it is not clear why we pop(pump) our arms when we pick up our feet. and studies have shown that it does require some muscle to do it, those limite(limbs) do to(not just) sway passively like a pendulum, so there must be some benefit.

To find out, scientists studied walking robusts(robots) and human volunteers, who walked normally or with their hands secured to their sides. And they found that for people on the goal(go), strolling with their arms strapped down took 12% more energy than just letting them fly. Swinging the arms also upset(offsets) the scissoring of the legs, saving even more energy, so next time you go for a walk do not forget your(those) arms, because this do not mean a thing if it ain't go that swing.

August 4
August 4, 2009
Swinging Arm Save Energy
People swing their arms when they walk. But did u ever wonder why?Does it help us keep(our) balance? Is it (a relic ) from our revolution path(past)? Is it because we look like d..(doofuses),if we don’t.Now a report in the Royal Society Journal Biological Sciences(前几天刚听过,嘿嘿,记下了) suggests that we swing our arms while walking ,in park(part),because it takes less nergy than we stop(it would do stop).Since people don’t walk on force(all fours) it (is) not clear why we p…out(pump our) arms when we pick (up) our feet. And study(ies) (have) shown when it doesn’t require some muscle to do it-(those limb don’t just sway passively like a pendulum). So they must be some benefits. To find out, scientists study(ied) walking robots and human volunteers who walk(ed) normally or with the hands securied to the(their) side(s).And they found (that) for people arm to go (on-the-go) strongly (strolling)with the arms tract(strapped) down to(took)12 percents more energy than just letting them fly.Swinging the arms also upset(offsets) the ….(scissoring of the legs) saving even more energy. So next time (u go) for a walk don’t forget doze(those) arms.’Cause it don’t(此处为什么是it don’t而不是it dose’t) need to think(means a thing) if (it ain’t) got that swing.

总结:
1、it would do stop 连读
2、pump our 连读
3、pick (up) our  连读

Poor old
spleen, it had(删) never got the recognition it deserved until now - scientists have known that the spleen is part of our immune systems, but it was considered expandable, an organ we could live fine without, if we had to - nothing crucial.
Now researchers in Boston say that the spleen actually helps mend damaged parts(-->hearts). The study was published in the July 31st  Issue of the Journal Science. They've shown that the spleen is what they call a 'critical reservoir of monocytes'. Those are cells that scientists have(-->had) previously thought were only found in bone maro(-->marrow) and bled(-->blood) that help fight infection. Scientists discovered this spleen-based monocytes by accident. They were investigating heart damage and found more monocytes at the side of the damage that should have been in the entire circular(-->circulatory) system. Upon investigation, they found the reservoir in the spleen.
After a heart attack, those monocytes surged at(-->surge out of) the spleen. When they reach the heart, they fight infection and are critically important to help(-->in helping) mend the heart issue(-->tissue). The researcher now want to find out if there're other conditions where spleen-based monocytes are critical. Finally, the Rodney Dangerfield of organs get(-->gets) some respect.

不知你注意到没有,最后一句 “’Cause it don’t means a thing if it ain’t got that swing” 是非正式的类似俚语的句子,所以用了 'cause,ain't got 等说法。
