Some prefer to travel in a group led by a tour guide, for the reasons of safety which the tourism company can provide, or for the introduction which the tour guide can give. A contrary view would believe that real tourist should travel without tour guide, in that way the pleasure of traveling can truly be appreciated. In my point of view, I inclined to support the first idea which seems like better for regular visitors.

To begin with, I think that the tour guide is familiar with the circumstance of the destinations. They can give us some useful tips which is important to keep ourselves safe during the journey. Usually, we can not speak the languages of different courtry. In such cases, the professional tour guides would be necessary for us to communicate with the local peoples. Even you are traveling in the your own country, there still some different dialects that we can’t understand. Anyway, with the accompany of the professional people, we can easily avoid a lot of unnecessary troubles, and enjoy the sweet journey without too much to worry about.

In addition, there are many information we can’t get from internet or the magazines. Some of this information is important to tourists. For instance, the special dishes that the local restaurant provided may contain a kind of resource, maybe some people would be sensitive to it. And the allergy reaction sometimes is dangerous, however, with the instruction of the tour guides, such accidents can totally avoid. In this way, the professional advise is useful.

Finally, the tour guide is good at generate the a jovial atmosphere, which add color to the dull journey. Besides, their professional knowledge of the foreign cultures and different interest places can provide the tourists with great appreciation of their journey. With the help of the tourism company, we would not worry about the transportation and the communication .
