According to the speaker, we should pay more attention to groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten instead of famous individuals.Although we can not efface the achievement of famous individuals I tend to agree with the speaker to emphasize what they did in the significant events in history.
Admittedly, the famous individuals in different fields make enormous contribution to the development relevant to their study or effort. And without them our society may not be like what it is now.Beethoven left us with his famous and elegant symphonies. The achievement he got not only leave us a big sum of historical reward but also impulse the development of  the musicology.Shakespare's famous play also put the literature into a new level and we can make his works as milestone when we study the history of literature. In addition, Mendal's experiments and his thoery of hereditary lay the foundation of modern hereditary as well as the Faraday in chemistry.These famous individuals in different centuries made much contribution to the development in different fields.Through the study of them we can know lots of the process of history.
However, the groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten are definitely involved in the most significant history events.Famous leaders only made descisions yet the people must do the factual work. Thinking the Great Wall in China, without the thousands of people in China can the Great Wall be like as great as what it is? Of course, it cannot detached from the effort of ordinary people.It is irresponsible when studying the history If we ignore their efforts.Besides, can we forget the thousands of people died in the Independence War? Without their brave behaviors and death the US can not be an independent country and American people can not have the life now.So the famous events in history should be departed from the ordinary people involved. Leaders can change but ordinary people can not replaced by other people like the upper class and so on.
At last, placing more emphasis on the people whose identities have long been forgotten makes us know the mainstream of ideology during diferent time in the development of society.Whenever the time is, society is made up by the oedinary people and obviously they represent the mainstream of ideology which is very essevtial factor in history study.Marx, the great thinker in the world, payed majority of his energy to the life of ordinary people and fainally got the thoery of society evolvement.It is with the most ordinary people together that he lived and he knew the mainstream of ideology of these ordinary people.However , if we ignore the study of the ordinary people we can hardly know anything about what the society actually is because the upper class only reflects little about the whole society.So it is important to place emphasis on the ordinary people whose identities have long been forgotten in history study.
To sum up, we can not easily efface the achievement of famous individuals and their efforts.However, it is more important that we cannot ignore the group of people whose identities have long been forgotten.Acctually, it is not fair and wise.

Although we can not efface the achievement of famous individuals I tend to agree with the speaker to emphasize what they did in the significant events in history.
这句是要说什么？

Marx的例子，我记得阅读老师说ETS不赞成马克思...所以换个例子保安全吧
而且这个例子也不太相关，你是在说研究普通人对马克思的学说有帮助，但这和历史无关

还有长城的例子没有说明为什么研究大众对研究历史很重要，我记得我当时也写长城了，不过是为了支持
题目的第二句话

groups of people whose identities have long been forgotten这个形式出现太多次了，作者可以换一种指代方式，比如common people, the average person, the majority 之类

文章整体还是有点缺乏流畅同时有点中国式英语，楼主可能得修改一下语言和句型
