No matter which realm we are, academic, social , business or politics, we indeed can use different opinion to deal with things -- idealistic or pragamtic. Some people argues that it is pragmatic way that we should choose for it provides us a more practical point of view to explore our world, while others take the opposite viewpoint that idealism is perfect when we encounter the cases. As far as I am concerned, I posit we should put balance on both of them for the reason that we cannot live a high quality life without neither of them.

To begin with, it is true that pragmatic behavior can garantees us survive from the complicated world in which material stuff seem more important than mental ones for as much as they are the basic needs. Above all, when it comes to reality, pragmatic behabior seems come first for many reasons which I will talk about later. Firstly, to reach the goal of success should we make concrete steps basically which means we should neglect some fancy to some extent. So a pragmatic behavior can make a person get what they want more quickly and maybe without much curves. Secondly, it people cannot live without pragmatic behavior just like flowers without sunshine and fish without water. Take Albert Einstein as an instance. Idealistic thoughts was flooding with his mind and no matter which he picked up to do research maybe he would be seccssful all the way. But what if he just had ideas? It was just fantastic and reaped nothing. On the contrary, he made all his efforts to do research and devoted his lifetime, we called pramatic ways, to his loved career and finally became the greatest scientist.

However, idealism is another thing we cannot discard neither which offers us the impetus to pursure our final dream -- gives everyone in society braveness. No matter how many parts weseperate our progress into small pieces, a final goal always exists there -- heart of our soul. In academic realm, all scientists want to finish their reseach about disease, chemical weapon and the like to help people get away from the suffering disease and wartime myser. In social realm, the only one goal which people from all around the world may be the same, that is peace and development. And combine people with different areas, different colors, different races, differenr languages to a unit family. In business fields, shareholders and executives share the same hope that build up a healthy economoc system and make maximize porfits. While in political area, authorities in power want to make their countries and distrctions stable and prosperious. They want to reach a high standard living condition and right morality. All of these idealism actually are not fantastic because they are to be reached by pragmatic steps and steps. The final dream is the true impetus
which spurs people to the future with braveness and persistence.

The most important thing is we cannot discard any of them because without either of them we cannot create a hamonious world between idealism and reality. Just like when we build up the Great Wall. Pragmatic behavior seems every block to be used while idealism is like the Great Wall, which we finally want to see. To cater for the rising pace of development, we should hold our dream in our heart and make pragmatic progress everyday. In another hand, it is unfair to say idealism tends to be superceded by simpler, more imediate opinions.

All in all , we should focus our attention on both idealism and pragmatics to get
a balanced scale. If we lose pramatic behavior , we will not reach the termination, but if we lose idealism, we even have no one way to the future at all. For that matter, both of them we cannot neglect.
