第一次写issue,请狠拍...!

TOPIC: ISSUE130 - "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."
WORDS: 529          TIME: 01:20:10          DATE: 2009/8/19 10:49:39

    To begin with,  socialization, generally means the ability of smooth communication and reciprocal cooperation with people, is merely a part of the process of growing up, in which the children's potential should be fully realized. Everyone differs in characters, as a result, some are voluble and some are taciturn. However, this does not have a decisive effect on what these uncommunicative children could bring to the future society. The famous German philosopher Kant is an appropriate example, who spent his life living in a small town and seldom spoke with his neighbors. But it is this a little world-weary person that brought about the earth-shaking change on people's thinking style and influence the development of the whole society. From this example, it is easy to found that the degree of children's socialization is not the crucial point for the destiny of society.
    For the problem about how to raise children, admittedly, a uniform and truly effective approach has not been found until now. As the definition of "better society" is vague, in my opinion, parents would put different concepts on the ways to bring up their babies. If the phrase should mean great tolerance of different ideas and behaviors and also high fusion of them, then the socialization of the children plays an more important role. Or if it should mean great promotion and pursuance for creativity and productivity, then cultivation of children's interest and potential is more essential. For that matter, the different comprehension of "better society" and "mature adults" will result in different apporaches to raise children.
    Moreover, since no one could precisely predict the future, we do not know what will happen during the children's growing up. To be specific, if the environmental condition gets worse than expected, then to restore the biosphere as well as to rescue the themselves, we should teach our children more knowledge about the biology and warn them about the threat from the nature. Another possibility is that with the more advanced techonologies being implemented, in order to adapt to the increasingly developed world, children's education has to be gradually changed. These two, together with other factors, lead to the unstability of our education.
     Nonetheless, whatever we consider "better society" ought to be in concrete, there do exist common points that any better societies should share, such as maintaining high moral and ethic levels, pursuing for world peace and cultivating human potential. Considering this, we could found a great deal to do with our offspring. As long as they could restrict themselves to the law, the society could remain relativily constant and no upheaval could take place; As long as they could discard war and terrorism, people of all races could enjoy peaceful lives and make a contribution to their motherlands; As long as they could keep ethusiastic for their interests, more innovations could be achieved and the human society could advance.
      To sum up, even though we cannot arrange everything for our children due to the limitation of the foresight for future, yet we still could do a lot to bring them up as a qualified and mature adults who are responsible for their behaviors and passionate for their works.

issue 写得也是文采斐然  怎么会这么好 我只能改点简单的小错误 感慨……

From this example, it is easy to found that the degree of children's socialization is not the crucial point for the destiny of society.我也看到这个例子了~
    For the problem about(我觉得应该用on the problem) how to raise children, admittedly, a uniform and truly effective approach has not been found until now. As the definition of "better society" is vague, in my opinion, parents would put different concepts on the ways to bring up their babies. If the phrase should mean great tolerance of different ideas and behaviors and also high fusion of them, then the socialization of the children plays an(应该是a) more important role. Or if it should mean great promotion and pursuance for creativity and productivity, then cultivation of children's interest and potential is more essential. For that matter, the different comprehension of "better society" and "mature adults" will result in different apporaches (单词有误approaches)to raise children.
    Moreover, since no one could precisely predict the future, we do not know what will happen during the children's growing up. To be specific, if the environmental condition gets worse than expected, then to restore the biosphere as well as to rescue the(不应该有the) themselves, we should teach our children more knowledge about the biology and warn them about the threat from the nature. Another possibility is that with the more advanced techonologies (单词有误 technologies)being implemented, in order to adapt to the increasingly developed world, children's education has to be gradually changed. These two, together with other factors, lead to the unstability (没有这个单词 有instability)of our education.
     Nonetheless, whatever we consider "better society" ought to be in concrete, there do exist common points that any better societies should share, such as maintaining high moral and ethic levels, pursuing for world peace and cultivating human potential. Considering this, we could found a great deal (我感觉这少点什么 a great deal 后面可以直接跟to么)to do with our offspring. As long as they could restrict themselves to the law, the society could remain relativily(单词有误relatively) constant and no upheaval could take place; As long as they could discard war and terrorism, people of all races could enjoy peaceful lives and make a contribution to their motherlands; As long as they could keep ethusiastic (单词有误enthusiastic)for their interests, more innovations could be achieved and the human society could advance.
      To sum up, even though we cannot arrange everything for our children due to the limitation of the foresight for future, yet we still could do a lot to bring them up as a qualified and mature adults(前面有a应该用单数吧) who are responsible for their behaviors and passionate for their works.

The speaker claims that the degree of the children's socilazation could directly determine what the society would be like in future, and that we have little knowledge about how to raise children in order to creat a better society at present. As far as I am concerned, I concede that the socilization is one of the determinants which influence children's behavior and moral level though it is not the most significant. Moreover, despite people's views on "better society" are distinct due to the different cultural backgrounds, I would like to advocate that parents, in order to foster their children into a qualified adults, have learned much to teach.

     其实我是想说关于教育孩子,还是有很多事情可以做的。<--这个才是重点。但是在文章中好像写不能做的比较多。-_______-||||||
