When asked whether we have leart how to raise children to bring about a better society whoes socialization is the determination of society's destine, people may find it difficult to come to consensus due to their diffierent background and conflicting values. As far as I am concerned, though there are some flaws in our children's education, but the achievement we have arrived can not be igonored. Since socialization is an crutial part in our children's education, several flaws lies in it which stuck their healthy growth not only in knowledge but psychology. The reason for this is that our teachers over emphersize the learning of knowledge, which is, admittedly, important, but overlook development in other aspects such as socializing ability, communication ability and healthy psychological condition. An accident happend a few months ago on the campus in VirginiaUniversity which ranks the top 50 in States. One student broke into the classroom and shoot dozens of students and one teacher to death. The murder is a young student from Korea and rank top in the class on daily study, but informed from his classmates that he was mental distorted and have serious psycological problems. Teachers are responsible for the lack of instruction of socializing in class and may feel guity about this slaughtering accident. They may put their attention, especially, on the lonely, isolated, less-communicating students and help them get rid of it to avoid any substantial tragidies in future in the reason that adolescents are the flowers of our nation and determines the future of our society. On the contrast, teachers are aware of children's socializing ability and the achievement they have arrived can not be ignored. The internship is an important expeirence for the college students and now is an indispensable course for a diploma. The Education-surporting Activity, in the form of sending college students, especially senior and sofermore, to undeveloped regions, is attracting in universities and popular among students. The advantages of this activity lies not only in the application of knowledge they've learned in college but also the practise of a socializing ability and the merciful sensation to help the poverish children. The survey on the result of this activity is satisfying -- the scores of courses highly rises in the next semester and the attitude and psycological conditions are in a better state. Their socializing ability improved, and coming with it is their resposibility on the society. Additionally, some courses and councils about socializing and psycology are established in universities and even companies. The atendees can learn better ways in socializing which are benificial. This is another aspect emphersizing the importance of education on students' pubilc communicating ability. In summary, though there are some flaws in our children's education, I strongly believe that we have leant ways to improve their socialization and made marvolous achievement. It is likely that people will never be able to arrive at the same conclusion on this controvertial issue. However, taking into account all the dimensions discussed in the above analysis might be a decisive step out of this dilemma.
