To begin with, do all the customers know what they really want to buy? Not exactly! This is especially true for a new brand which almost no one knows about. For instance, when people shopping in a super market, he/she may just pick out the products whose brands they are already familiar with and will neglect the products with a brand they never heard of-new brand. Therefore, the customer loses the chance of getting to know another kind of product which may be more likely to meet his/her needs. However, advertisement would be the most effective method to solve this problem by providing customers with the latest information of their products. Attracted by good features of the products, the customer may decide to have a try when they meet with this brand next time. Apparently, the customer will benefit from the AD by having more choices

Someone may argue that, some ad rather exaggerate the function or even provide false information of certain product and I admit that this will bring inconvenience to the customers.
