Friendship is of great significance to every individual. Having true friends is what people are always longing for. Sincerity is one of the most important qualities that you should possess when you are treating your friends. However, some people hold the contention that compared with doing something likely to destroy the friendship, it is better to let a friend go ahead when he or she makes a mistake. As far as I am concerned, I do not side with their opinion for the following reasons.

In the first place, being sincere toward your friends is crucial. People want their friends to convey their true feelings and express their real thoughts. Genuineness is called for at all times, especially when a friends is heading wrong way. It is your responsibility to point out the mistake as a trustful friend.

In addition, correcting your friends' mistakes right away is beneficial to them, though you will probably be blamed for at the beginning. None the less, if the friendship is strong enough, such little hardship counts noting. I still remembered a formal party I attended last year. I am kind of person who does not look sharp and care about dressing up. For that party, I decided to wear casual clothes. When I was on my way to the party wearing on informal T-shirt and jeans, I ran into my best friend, Jill. I told her where I was going. Immediately, she pointed out that I should  dress myself up and my apparel was so terrible for that party. After hearing her comment, I was quite angry in all honesty. Nevertheless, my gratitude for Jill went beyond the minor anger since when I arrived there, I saw everyone worn formal clothes. Thanks for Jill, I did not appeared strange at the party.

In conclusion, it is desirable that you stop your friends from making mistakes for the justifications I have demonstrated above.
