Issue56. Governments should focus more on solving the immediate problems of today rather than trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In this increasingly complex society, more and more problems, even emergencies exist than ever, while the governments do not have enough money and energy to deal with every problem. Does that mean the governors should pay more attention on resolving immediate problems while ignoreignore的意思是你自己转换过来的吧,more than 关系如何看出来另一个就被ignore了? anticipating problems of the future? Considering that the purpose of human beings is to make our earth a much better one, I insist that both the immediate problems and potential ones should be focused on by the governments.同蒙蒙的意见,问的是比较关系,哪个更要focus on,又不是管一个就不要另一个,为啥要说both?有偏题的趋势了,再看看下文的。
Admittedly, the immediate problems should be resolved as soon as possible otherwise they will stand on the way of the development of our society. There are many these problems in every society, such as crimes, wars, drag abuse, unemployment and so on, and these problems suffer people a lot. With the existence of crimes, many people were robber, stole, or even murdered, while the persons who accused the crimes were posted into prison, both of which destroyed ingrates of thousands of families; every time when war happened, millions of people died and outcaste; be addicted with drags, an alive man prefer to death; because of unemployment, many families do not have avenues to subsist. If the governments do not hesitate to resolve these immediate problems, their people can not even live well, how can we say make our earth or our society a better one?
However, governments' focus on solving the immediate problems does not mean that they can ignore 确实does not mean they can ignore啊,是你自己加入的猜测,哼to try to solve the anticipated problems of the future. Sometimes the potential problems are much more harmful than the immediate ones if they are not foreseen. A striking example is the flood of china in 1998. People of the nation did not cherish the forests, in order to benefit themselves; they just hewed the trees blindly for building or other purpose. Consequently, these deeds make forests become deserts, which get their deserved result-the flood. It is the ignorance of the anticipated problems that brings people this disaster. The purpose of us is to make our earth better; therefore, we should consider both the immediate problems and the potential ones. A trivial thing we do now may play a significant roll on the development of our offspring.
Therefore, governments should focus both 又是bothon solving the immediate problems and the anticipated problems of future as well. Things governments should consider is not weather immediate problems or potential ones should be paid more attention but which problems can draw more harmful affects if they are not been solved. If the immediate problems are very urgent, so governments should try their best to solve them; while if the potential problems will bring bigger sufferings if they are not anticipated, governments should try to resolve these problems. Only by striking a balance between the two can governments make our dreams come true.
To sum up, the author oversimplified the statement by saying that Governments should focus more on solving the immediate problems of today rather than trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future. After a detailed consideration, I prefer to pay attention to them both.
