"The greatness of individuals can be decided only by those who live after them, not by their contemporaries."
1)伟人作出的成就不是同时代的人一下在就能接受和明白的,因为他们的智商＆才能都超过了平常人,所以要理解他们作出的成果需要一个过程.
2)有时候一个成果被理解受很多条件制约的,比如说政治.
3)随着社会的发展，思想越来越自由，实验设备越来越先进，彼此之间的交流越来越多，伟人的思想会被越来越快的得到承认.

The author asserts that only people who live after the men rather than their contemporaries can understand them who make greatness of individuals.At the first glance,this opinion seems to be somewhat convincing,but further reflection tells me that i cannot agree with it for the following reasons.

In the first place,the greatness of individuals cannot be appreciated by their contemporaries in large part is due to their outstanding talent and their transcendental intelligence which surpass the common cognition of general public and their peers.The attainment,usually,is so complicated and profound that cannot be comprehended by normal people,or even they never heard about the points .In order to understand it,they must utilize more and more time to study and investigate.Many giants' achievement are all accepted after many years and some even be admitted after they  are died.For example,Copernicus create heliocentric theory at that time while all of people including authorities deny his theory. They cannot receive his greatness all the time until the trues have been revealed many years later.This example demonstrate that the greatness of individual cannot be comprehended by their contemporaries.

In the second place,it is true that many great individuals cannot be decided correctly by their contemporaries because of many aspects limit them .For instance,in arts, artists' values ususally show up after many years.Every work of art ,in everyone's eyes,is different since art is subjective,just like"there are one hundred different hamlets in one hundred people's eyes." In addition,some arts can be apprehended when you experience what artists are suffered.For example,the reason why abstracted works of Picassoare are famed after the Second World War is that they all undergo the war and they have the same resonances.So people receive and grasp his productions immediately when they are printed.And in politicals, powerful individuals are not easy to be decided. They have power to protect themselves and many of their facts are envelopped.Bruno is one of the best examples to explain why politicals must prevent him?Bcause Bruno refusing to accept the explanation given by temporal govrenment and insiting on heliocentric theory,they regard him as a heritic and in order to maintain their dominion,they have no choice but to burn him finally.

Admittedly,we can also receive the greatness of individuals more quickly so long as we associate more frequently,think more freely and our experimental equipments are more advanced.Furthermore,in modern demoscratic society,individuals have full free to express their ideas and show their unique talents and characters,we will encourage them and accept their viewpoints if they prove them rightly .

In sum,from what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion thatwe can not  admitt the greatness of individuals only by those who live after them .The best method which is equitable to them is to try our best to understand and prove their point timely.

总的说来前两个观点是很不错的，例子恰当，不过太长，没有利用它来说理，一开始我也犯这种毛病，多加小心，呵呵
