Argument76
In this argument, the author claims that Luxess is effective in improving the condition of facial skin and he uses a study conducted by a health and beauty magazine to support it. Although the evidence seems plausible and comprehensive, it has series logical flaws under scrutiny. We must analyze this argument case-by-case.

Firstly, the situation of the study is not clear. On the one hand, the argument does not provide any information about their ages, jobs, and skin conditions. It also does not tell us how many people engaged in the study and what's the number of men and women. Maybe their ages and skin conditions are similar so that this kind of face cream can improve their skin. Or maybe they didn't use any cream in daily lives and every kind of face cream will be effective. On the other hand, whether this magazine had the ability to conduct the study is problematic. Is there any expert involved in the study? These factors make us can not believe the study fully.

Secondly, the process of the study is to make every volunteer applied Luxess after washing their faces with mild soap.  Maybe it is the mild soap but not the face cream that effects. The argument does not provide the information about if they used other kind of cream as well. If it is true, we can guess that other creams contributed to the improvements.

Finally, the duration of one month is not enough for a convincing study, especially in the face cream products. Many other factors can be changed in a month such as the climate. As it is know to us, hot and dry air degrades people's skin while cool and wet air improves. Moreover, it is possible that some people did not tell the truth. They maybe feel improved just because psychological effects. What's more, there is even not any data to demonstrate the degree of the improvements. "Most people" and "marked improvement" is obscure language. It should be clearly pointed how many people and how much is the ratio. There also should be a more effective way to judge how much their facial conditions improved.

To sum up, it is hasty to draw a conclusion that the Luxess is actually effective only based on the evidence it shows. To make the argument more authentic, the author must give enough information about the study and also provide data to support this argument.
