The study of an academic discipline alters the way we perceive the world. After studying the discipline, we see the same world as before, but with different eyes.

The speaker asserts that the study of an academic discipline alters the way we perceive the world and that we could see the same world as before but with different eyes after studying the discipline. In my point of view, I strongly agree with the speaker and I tend to hold the point that in many academic disciplines, the more we know about an academic discipline, the greater we will alter the way we perceive the world.

First of all, in the field of biology, with the studying of it, human beings' idea has changed greatly. For example, many years before, our ancestors formerly thought that all the form of lives are the work of God, and it is the God that create the all the creature in the world. This idea has last almost thousand of years in human beings' history. While when the great biologist, Darwin, published his great work of " the Selection of Nature”, this idea begun to change and more and more people were getting to know that all the lives were evolved from the most simple form of organics, so does we human beings. This illustrates that the study of biology could reveal some of the truth of the process of how all the lives evolved to the state of today, and it could totally change what people have ever thought about it.

In addition, in the field of astronomy, we could also find that the more we know about the universe, the greater our cognition are altered .we formerly though that the Earth is the center of the universe, while Copernicus had proved that it was not the case, and the Sun is the center of the universe. But several years latter, some other astronomers had proved that the Sun was also not the center of the universe and the universe was endless. What is more, we have ever thought that there are just 9 big planets in the solar system. But recently, scientist have found a planet which is bigger than the planet of Plot in the solar system, then it might be that it will also list in the family of the big planets in the solar system and there will be 10 big planets in this system or much more several years later. In a word, the study of astronomy has indeed altars the way we perceive the universe.

Finally, when it turns to the field of physic, we will find that it is the study of it that greatly changed the way we think of the world. The best example to illustrate this point is Einstein's theory of Relativity. Before he published this great work, almost all the people thought that the most common physical factors, such as time, mater, and energy had not any relation each other. While Einstein's great work proved that, these factors indeed had some kind of relation and there would be a change between mater and energy in some situation. Furthermore, basing on this theory, he also proved that no matter in any situation, the velocity of light could be a constant, which has thought to be unbelievable in the past. So in this sense, the study of physic indeed has altered the way we perceive the world.

To sum up, in many fields of academic disciplines, it is always true that the more we get to know about an academic discipline, the greater we will alter the way we perceive the world.

3，一点建议：b3的Einstein的论述不够到位，While Einstein's great work proved that, these factors indeed had some kind of relation and there would be a change between mater and energy in some situation.并没有说清楚质能转换，以及到底那些方面颠覆了以前的看法，没有在这个点上强调。后面的光速不变定律也不够cogent。后面估计时间也不够了，结尾没有自己的话，没有新的意思出来。
