Does any field of study advance significantly unless outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to that field of study? Admittedly, I concede the introduction of outsiders’ knowledge, methodology and experience could be of the essence in the development of that field of study, however I believe that in some basic field in order to advance the study of that field depends on its own research and creation.
On the one hand, the introduction of outside knowledge, experience and methodology could motivate the significant advancement in that field of study since in the interaction of different fields procedure sparkles with wit may be created by collision. Take genetics for example. Genetics applies the method of biochemistry and cell-biology into the research of heredity and mutation, growth and gene control, gene and environment and so forth[,] which are all of theoretic merits and application significance. One of the practical researches is the mechanism and therapy of human important disease. With biochemistry and cell-biology, genetics has become a cross science and get [gotten] enormous development in the field. As we know genetics belongs to nature science, another example in social science could also illustrate the importance of cross study. Social psychology is a combination of sociology and psychology, which deals with the behavior of groups and the influence of social factors on the behavior of individual. Also sociology can be said to try to bridge the gap between these two disciplines or said to be co-disciplinary with sociology and psychology, providing overlapping theories and research in order to form a clearer picture of social life. The methods of social psychology involve many psychology approaches such as survey, naturalistic observation, participant observation and controlled experiments and so on. In fact, researchers affirm the importance of the multi-methodological approach to social research. In this case we can find the introduction of outside field study could lead to a new science naissance.
On the other hand in some elementary field, the flourish of a science bases on its own study. Take psychology for example. Although psychology is deeply rooted in philosophy and physiology, the official birth of psychology is often traced to 1879, at the University of Leipzig in Germany. There[,] Wundt established the first laboratory dedicated to the scientific study of mind. Compared to philosopher who preceded him, Wundt’s approach to the study of mind is based on systematic and rigorous observation. In the initial phase of psychology, even if psychology is a subject separated from philosophy, Wundt laid the foundation of modern psychology experiment without introduction of other subjects. Therefore in the initial phase of a subject, one science creates and develops on its own.
In conclusion, cross science indeed could enhance the advancement of subjects in various fields because different science collision may result in sparkles with wit. On the other hand, in the initial development of a subject, earnest attempt on its own could advance.
没发现什么问题,只是有些句子觉得特别长,加加标点可能更好一点,不过这也是个人意见,呵呵,继续写吧 |
