Education will more effective when it is designed to meet the requirement of the individual needs and interests as well as the requirement of some indispensable general education programs

In order to cater individual needs and to enhance interests of students, schools can offer some specially designed programs to students. Everyone in the school has distinctive hobbies and desire to enhance and chase his or her own interests. If schools provide an arena to cultivate students' interests, then every distinctive individual will experience real progress. Moreover, some talents grow up only accord their own learning interests, and they just do not like the step by step education means which are carried out for majority students. Therefore, schools should realize the problem when they face the dilemma of choosing between special courses and general ones. Sometimes the best way is to present special courses for a few individuals who may become the elites of our society.

However, over-simplified education will narrow down students' ken and capability of acclimation to future career. Not everyone will become the elites of our society. Some students just suit to some general courses and job-orientation training courses to survive in a more and more competitive society. Schools and teachers should put their attention on these students, not focus only on a few distinctive students. Most children do not know what they like and what they want to do in future. They may embrace impractical dreams and bed learning habits. Then the teachers should put some general courses before they form their mature minds

Moreover, winking at every student’s desire would only result in chaos in education. For that matter, if a class has fifty students who has fifty different learning habits. Who can be trust? How to carry out the whole class? Then teachers should use their authority and unify the wholly class to a uniform group. Our society has laws to punish the people who commit crimes as our schools also have institution to restrict the students' behavior and present some general education means. Then classes can carry out to satisfy the interests of the majority.

The efficiency of education lies in cultivating students when based on some basic and general education programs. For example, every child should receive moral education and some basic lessons such as math, physics, and native language. Although students may have little interests on this fundamental courses and subjects, they have to learn them because theses courses and subjects evaluate the quality of a person and provide basic skills for future jobs. Admittedly, the basic courses are dull, and students have to calculate functions all day, but these courses give students enough skills which can solve problems in other subjects and is useful in everyday business. Moral education, a similar general course not only in America but also in all of the other countries, is a necessary program accompany with the growing up of the next generation.

Schools should not be enslaved in the dilemma of either to provide special courses or general courses. They should be more flexible, and combine two kinds of courses in their education means. They also should provide special courses for some distinctive individuals and general courses for the majority. Then it may be an optimal way to cultivate more useful students for our society.
