People are mistaken when they assume that the problems they confront are more complex and challenging than the problems faced by their predecessors. This illusion is eventually dispelled with increased knowledge and experience.

Many people consider that we are facing more complex and challenging problems nowadays than in the past. Not only the rapid developed technology, but also the expanding population, has brought more problems and difficulties. While the speaker opposes to this point for that he thought that increased knowledge and experience has made the problems we face today not as hard as it was in the past. That is actual in some realms, but not in all areas. As far as I am concerned, I believe problems are more complex and challenging.

Admittedly, to some extent, predecessors' rich experiences have greatly helped us deal with similar problems. When we get some diseases that came out and be cured before, we just use the medicine and health will come back again. Also, with the knowledge of electricity, electrical machines are created to work for us and enhance the productivity. Rich knowledge and experiences on the similar problems that still occurs from the past till now, surely brings convenience to our lives at present.

However, there still remains difficulties that predecessors are unable to solve and new problems are often coming out.

As rapid progress in science, scientists always confront to a more difficult topic and more profound theory. Many topic we meet today are sever-fold difficult than before. For example, how to develop nanotechnology and make it into practice, is hard to imagine in the past, not to say just use predecessors' knowledge and experience to solve it, but scientists are try their best to solve it. Many difficults in science, need new knowledge and new experience. And just so, we can promotes our society development.

Today, we often meet various social problems that has never been occured ever. Recently population is exploding fleetly and becomes a hot topic. No matter how many rules and ways are set in order to solve it, it just remains. That has brought heavy pressure to people, since competitions are serious in job hunting. Places for living are more expensive and narrow than before. Therefore, society is not as stable as it was in the past. Crimes occur  frequently and traffic accidents happen once at every minute averagely. Problems brought by the explosion in population, always bother us, and there is still no good way to solve them.

We also meet sever pollution problems which are baffling us. Repid development brings us many benefits, meanwhile it also brings many disadvantages. Nowadays, heavy smog, acid rain, global warming, are new phenomena, and produce new problems. Since these phenomenona have never appear before and little knowledge about them, they are more complex and challenging for us to solve.

In sum, considering the problems we face today, we can easily realize that although predecessors have accumulated much knowledge and experience , we still face difficulties and challenge. Unseen problems in politics, population, environment always come out as time goes and situation changes(斗转星移怎么说，或时代在变).

As far as I am concerned, I believe problems are more complex and challenging.[我觉得这一段的语句顺序应该调整一下，把自己的观点的原因—题目的观点---自己的观点  这个顺序改成 题目的观点—自己的观点—自己观点的原因， 这样比较顺畅]
