108."In many countries it is now possible to turn on the television and view government at work. Watching these proceedings can help people understand the issues that affect their lives. The more kinds of government proceedings - trials, debates, meetings, etc. - that are televised, the more society will benefit."

The speaker asserts that the more television of the government proceedings such as trials, debates, meetings, etc are public, the more society will benefit. In my views, fundamentally I agree with the issue that just facing to the public, can the government will be more efficient, bring out more democratic and people can take part in the daily fairs for their behalf. However, unduly public of government fairs or some fields, it is unfair or will influence the authority or secrets of the government.  

To begin with, turning on the television and viewing government at work are no doubt to help authority department enhance its work efficiency and bring out more democratic, which is beneficial to the whole society. As to the work efficiency, through the viewing the proceedings such trials, debates, meetings, etc people can learn the detailed and true circumstance at the present and in turn they can supervise the government. Government dare not have little careless and have to work more responsible than before just because the process is transmitting on television to the whole nation. When it comes to the democracy, nobody can deny that if without supervisement, it is inevitably to bring out dictator, which is harmful to the stability of the nation. One needs look no further than the Hitler who governed the German. In a word, only making the government proceedings face to the public, the government's work efficiency will be higher and the whole nation will be more democratic.

In addition, turning on the television and viewing government at work will help citizens to take part in diary fairs which are related with individuals. Through watching television or viewing at the spot, people can communicate with the officials or experts immediately and express their different voices that will be most true from individuals. Then the officials or experts can modify their proceeding even alter them in order to satisfy the most major public's need, which can be beneficial and effective to the trials, debates or meetings. Consequently, watching these proceedings is no doubt to enhance the public passion to participate the process.

Yet, unduly public of government fairs, to some extent, it will weaken the authority of the government even let out some secrets. Take important and crucial cases for example, if these cases of trials are turned on, to some extent the stability of the society will be influenced, the authority of the government will be weakened. Generally speaking, public are desired to avoid and they only learn the last results.(由于限时写，没有想到好的例子)

In sum up, the more television of the government proceedings are broadcasted, the more society will benefit just in that through proceeding to the public can the government will be more efficient and the whole nation will be more democratic, in doing so, people can take part in these proceedings. However, unduly public of government fairs at some fields will influence the authority and let out secrets of the government.
