提纲：1、科学技术的进步带给人们前所未有的战胜大自然的力量，使人们的生活质量得到空前的提高。
      2、技术在造福人类的同时，我们不得不承认它也带来了新的问题。
（1）资源的过度开采，环境的严重污染。很多问题都是人们为了满足自己的现实利益而不作长远考虑而引发的。
（2）更为严重的是许多尖端的技术被用来摧毁人类文明，如化学武器，恐怖活动。
3、技术进步与人类发展平衡是关键。

正文：
Nowadays people have relied on modern technology more and more, which bring us unbelievable convenience life. However, with the developing of modern technology, people recently also realize that technology makes more problems when it bore high quality life to us at one time. Even some of them will one day may do harm to human beings.

Admittedly, the rapid progress of technology has solved much more problems which troubled our human beings for thousands years in the past 20th century. It also makes our daily life more colorful and convenience than ever before. Under the great help of technology common people today can get the best medical treatment, the latest news happened around the world, various delicious food in any corner of the early. Take the vegetable for example, in the past time people in the north of China can take only one kind of vegetable-Chinese cabbage as their daily food in winter because of the cold clime. Thanks to the technology, since the appearance of greenhouse people there can find various vegetables and fruit in the cold winter, even the tropical plant. What is more, the plants which grow in the greenhouse are much bigger than that in the ground. Therefore greenhouse technology has solved a huge problem which worried the big population of China for a long time.

However, each thing has its advantage and disadvantage sides, we have to admit another reality that technology creates a series of problems what we have never foreseen before. On one hand, the problem of environment and resource has drawn people’s attention all over the world, under the great quantity of commodities and service demand, people have to improve the technology endlessly to meet the need, therefore, the environment pollution and resource destroy then occurred. On the other hand, in recent years, more and more technologies which are even the sharpest ones, was mastered by some group who are terrorists or members of evil religions. They research various weapons such as biochemistry weapons, nuclear bombs and so forth to one day attempt to overthrow the human beings.

Finally, as we all know, it is not the technology itself, but how we treat technology advancement that creates such problems. The urgent affair that people have to do first is to make the technology and the benefits of human being progress together harmoniously in order to acquire long-range development.

To sum up, technology is a double-edged sword, which may overthrow the quality of human being’s life and even threaten our existence. if we use it in a wrong way. Our world cannot go along without technology which can produce tremendous improvements in the quality of human life as well as lead to a disaster. So we can safely reach the conclusion that we should utilize technology in appropriate way and not abuse it to satisfy one's own ambition.
