The future development of humanity seems to be of uniquely worthy of investigation, but the history, which had happened before, is a mass of events that could do a little value to right now. As a matter of fact, it is the other way around. While the speaker's assertion that the study of history has value only to the extent that is relevant to our daily lives, I confirm that it is only one trivial aspect of the benefits of studying history. The facts of first-rate importance are the dominant role history plays in the avoiding of history mistake, and the potential law of society it may manifest.

Without the benefit of the historical knowledge we learned, we would be ignorant of what has happened in the past, how this society worked before, and even more, who are my ancients. Based on the historical perspective, the naive young people may be more smart and intelligent than before, for history has already given them some experiences and lessons. Known what will happen and told how to deal with the matters, we will behavior more rationally and keep ourselves away of trouble. This, in turns, leads to forming the good habits of learning from history.
