Movies and televisions influence people’s behavior in various aspects, especially in today’s world. There were many bad critics to these mass media in the present. People always said that the war movies made my boy like fighting with other children, some critics argued that many parents used the televisions as a baby-sitter which cause the diluted of the family sentiment. But, with so much bad influence, why movies and television become more and more popular? Because they also have a lot of good affection to people and society.

I can say that the most significant one is that these media improves people’s self-confidence.  Especially for women who had no chance to show their special and beauty to the world, whose contributes and abilities were ignored for hundreds of years in the past. Now, there are an abroad stage for them on movies and televisions. Look at on the TV show, some of beauties are as famous as a princess and make the prints on the star street, some are best scientists who give lectures to all the audience, and we also can see woman in government talk about all the things of the whole country on news, such as Condoleezza Rice, the Secretary of America.

Another benefit that the mass media take to us is the enhancement on children’s behavior and emotion. The publicizing of protecting the environment and animals teach children to have the sense of love the surrounding things. It is the most vivid lessons when children watch how human activities destroy the nature which also induce disaster to ourselves such as blood, ground sea, tornado, and desease. What is more, the young have better mood and aspect to others by watching cartoon and mysterious stories.

Besides the serious news and reviews, movies and televisions bring people much more pleasure than traditional ways. The family can sit around the TV to watch football games after supper, old people can go fishing after studying the skills on the TV, ladies also like to talk about the hottest artists on the latest movies. They all find what they need and eager on the media, not only useful but more fun.

Mass media themselves have no sense or incline. They rely on how people treat them just as books. So we wish the shows tend to more benefit and valuable for us.

the definition of 'people's behavior'  is  the things that people do. for example: "killing people" is  kind of "people's behavior"

感觉有些跑题.

thus, your mentioned "1、给女人已展现自我的机会 2、让小孩懂得环保意义、尊重他人等常识    3、给人带来休闲快乐" those are not exactly "people's behavior".
