Argument2   The following appeared in a letter sent by a committee of homeowners from the Deerhaven Acres to all homeowners in Deerhaven Acres.
'Seven years ago, homeowners in nearby Brookville community adopted a set of restrictions on how the community's yards should be landscaped and what colors the exteriors of homes should be painted. Since then, average property values have tripled in Brookville. In order to raise property values in Deerhaven Acres, we should adopt our own set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting.'

In  analysis,the arguer recommends that homeowner in  Deerhaven Arces should adopt their own set of restriction on landscaping and housepainting in order to raise local property  values.A major assumption underlying this argument is that homeowner in nearby Brookville community have done the same thing ,hence average property values have trippled in Brookville.This line of reasoning is flawed in several aspects.
     To begin with, there may be some other reasons why average property values have trippled in Brookville but not merely the one mentioned in the argument.For instance,maybe the goverment have endow some funds to improve the transport condition in Brookville,so more  people are likely  to visit the place,and so investors focus more on that place,thus the competition for buying grounds is more fierce.Also,there are some other probabilty that certain magnificent architecture was builded up in brookville and a significant progrom was signed and was to put into practice in that place. Therefore,the arguer excluded other possbility that will render the rise of property value,which makes the assumption not convingcing to support his recomment.

   Furthermore, it's possible that some other factors restrict the rise of property value in Deerhaven Ares,which if not removed could make it impossible to raise property values there just by adopt their own restriction.As we know ,the rise of property value mainly result from a agreeable environment at this place,if the environment in this place was polluted,any adoption will be of no use unless local people take measures to ameliorate the environmental condition in this place.So before the homeowners adopt  restrictions on landscaping and housepainting,they should investigate the enviromental condition at first.

   Finally,conditions in differents are various,maybe the landscape in the community yards in deerhaven Arcers is proper enough to make any improvement,new restrction on landscaping may just add inconvinence in people's life there.In addition,the choices of colors on the exteriors of homes in Deerhaven Acres may embody the concept of local people which are just fit to the culture.Therefore restriction may on the contrary destroy such concept and jeopardize the development of the property value.

    In summary,the conclusion reached in this argument is invalid and misleading.To make the argument more convincing,the arguer would have to prove that the condition in most aspects in Deerhaven Arcres  is the same as that in Brookville.So more  survey should be made if they really dertermin to enact any restriction.
