Nowadays, there is a controversial issue about laws which are generally divided into two types: just and unjust. What is a just law? A just law should prevent the interests of most of people and equate every person. In my opinion, we have a responsibility to obey just laws while we should try our best to resist unjust laws and correct them.//62words
The first and foremost reason for my view is that it is the just laws that make our live an orderly life. With just laws, people could safely live in their own house; with just laws, people could orderly drive their private cars through the narrow bridge one by one; with just laws, people who have an ability to work could find jobs to earn sums of money and make their contribution to the society. On the other hand, people will live in a state of chaos without just laws. Without just laws, people's house might have been ransacked of all that was worth anything and perhaps they suddenly were gunned down while working along the street; without just laws, the traffic might collide each other and jammed in the road; without just laws, most of people would lose their job and finally undergo starvation and die due to the failure to earn any piece of bread. In a word, the just laws make sure that we could live a happy and orderly life. //170words
In addition, there is another important reason for me to choose this statement that the just laws can maintain an appropriate rapid economic growth. It is the just laws that protect the legal economic activities. It is entirely possible that people could not purchase anything which they want to buy without the just laws. It is probably because too many people want to "get" the food or other commodities by spending no money and then rob of anything worth in the shop. It is also because nobody would run a shop which does not only earn any money but also bring great dangers. Most important, the just laws can provide the legal competition which can maintain an appropriate rapid economic growth. Therefore, the just laws will benefit the economic growth. //130words
Admittedly, although the just laws play a very important role in modern society and we have a responsibility to obey them, it is not all laws that are just laws as are defined above and the unjust laws do harm to people and our society. For example, the unjust laws about racial discrimination might distract the peaceful live of black people. The unjust laws which maintain a monopoly might break out the rule in the competitive market and harm the interests of other people. Therefore, we should do our best to resist them and correct them and protect the interests of most of people with regard to unjust laws. //109words
To sum up, given the reasons mentioned above, we may safely come to the conclusion that we should make our efforts to resist unjust laws and protect the interests of most of people while we have a responsibility to obey just laws. //42words
