Scandals are those things which arouse the feeling of shame and outrage in among the people. We all do not wish to see the scandals happen, however, though somewhat torturous, the scandals can be useful especially in drawing the attention of the population of the problems which should be solved.

Those we are aware that there are problems or will be problems in certain parts of our lives, they may not focus our attention for the reason that we are likely to console ourselves that things might not be so bad. Just take the examination system as an example, when we are aware that there is possibility for the students to cheat in the examination under the heavy pressure. However, not until the fact that some students have been caught cheating in the examination and such things have been broadcasted as scandals, we are unlikely to facing the urging question and pay attention to the reformer of the examination system. And then the relevant policy and disciplines are enacted own to the scandals. And the same thing might happen in other fields such as politics and economics and the attention drawn by scandals can hardly be compared by the speaker or reformer. That is the use of scandals, through the distressing fact to teach the populace that the problems are still existing and waiting us to solve.

What's more, sometimes the scandals even pointed out the defection in some realms, which we have not notice. Before the sexual scandal about Clinton, maybe it is not a surprising thing for the high level officials to find something exiting during their work, which is concealed to the populace. And as ordinary people, they may consider those who announced to represent their benefits are of the highest moral level and need few constrictions for their outstanding self-control. However, things turns to be disappointing, though it might not be too bad for the populace to realize those high level officials even the present needs rules from the policy and laws as the common citizens before more disastrous things are done by them. On the other hand, this scandal warms all the officials to pay more attention to their deeds and the supervision of the multitude are more seriously than they thought.

Admittedly, it is true that not all the scandals make contribute to the development of the society; sometimes they can also draws the attention from the more serious problems to trivial ones worthless of mention. To most people, the divorce of their boss, which can be regarded as scandals in some regions, might be much more interesting things than the environmental destruction of the world, while the effecter of the boss' divorce can certainly not be compared with the polluted river water, which might lead to thousands of death including both human beings and animals. And sometimes people are more liable to pay attention to the superficial problems of the scandals instead of ones with deep meanings. To the divorce of the boss, seldom people can realize from the scandal that the increasingly high divorce rate of the middle age people in the society and then pay more attention to their own family relationship avoiding the same thing happening to themselves. So the reporters of those scandals process the responsibility to introduce the populace to understand the problems in a correct way.  

In sum, scandals are effective ways to draw our attention than many other ways, while not all the scandals need us to pay attention to. And we should use our wisdom to decide the most important factors a scandal indicates.

我感觉自己写不出这么多东西,500字都觉得写不完呢.
例子也很好,分析的也比较多.

说句实话，二楼的，我看你的文章也是同感。你看看我给你的修改就知道了，基本都是在说：值得学习，挺好的。。之类啊，汗。。。（我好像也是改你issue185的，四号，对吧）
而且我觉得克林顿那个例子应该是说丑闻不好的，我看了篇范文也是这么说的。
