I agree that scandals can be very useful for societies. Scandals have a preventive supervision effect on our societies and can help provide solutions to the problems reflected by the scandals.

First, scandals can serve as preventive supervision on our societies. Scandals are important events in which people behave in a socially unacceptable way, and scandals uncover the misconducts that often could not be known in a normal way. Scandals often shock people and can have great power in attracting the public attention. Hence, they can exert an effect of supervision on our societies because they have the strong power of the public opinion. The people involved in a scandal have to pay high prices for the mistakes they have conducted, not only because of the punishment for breaking the law but also because the mass media and the public will express their disapproval and condemnation. The people involved will feel regretful for the mistakes they have made and will learn that such behavior will not be tolerated. At the same time, the whole thing will serve as a lesson for the society.

The recent scandal in Italy’s top professional football league is a case in point. Several major clubs in Serie A, the top football league, have been accused of dishonestly arranging the results of many matches by selecting favorable referees. The Italian authorities showed great determination of struggling against such behavior of cheating and severe punishments have been imposed on these clubs. One of the clubs involved, Juventus, has been relegated to a lower league and its titles of last two years have been taken away. In this case, the scandal, which was uncovered by a newspaper, serves as a supervising factor. It helps the public and the authorities to make sure that the football events are working in a correct way and helps create a healthy environment for Italian football. We can be sure that in the future few people will dare to try to win matches in a dishonest way. In fact, the whole thing will be a lesson not only for Italian sports but also for the whole Italian society.

In addition, scandals can help provide solutions to problems. After getting shocked by scandals, people will reflect on the matters involved in the problems. This will lead to a better understanding and analysis of the current situation, which can help the public or the authorities to come up with relevant solutions to the problems. In the society, there will be contemplation on what we should do and what measures should be taken to prevent similar bad behaviors.

In conclusion, scandals, with their considerable power in attracting public attention, can supervise people and our societies and can help us think of solutions to the problems that scandals reveal. While few of us would be pleased to hear scandals, they indeed serve as a very helpful tool for understanding and dealing with the problems in our societies.


Issue越写越费劲,要花很长时间,越来越没信心了.不知道是不是因为这道Issue185太难写.

反正我感觉论证很难,每写一句都挺费劲.所以就得往上搬例子,例子写起来也费事.

1 总起来感觉你的表达进步很多， gxgx 尽管这篇真的比较难写
2 但是你的文章结构很不合理 首先你第二段论证了一番，可是第三段呢 整个是一个例子段
3 第四段你自己也讲了， 没话说， 所以整体上干旱＝觉前面很满后面很瘦削

我和你有同感，最近写的都没劲力，我使劲凑也就四百词多一点， 写的很痛苦
