Issue185 "Scandals—whether in politics, academia, or other areas—can be useful. They focus our attention on problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could."
  People usually believe that you should act as a common person forever but not a person with scandals. This may a basic critic to value a person’s dignity. Scandal is a sensitive topic in our daily lives and no person want to have something to do with it. However, it is really a useful warning when our attention is focused on the problem.

  We have seen clearly that scandals in all fields harm the benefit of the society very much, but it also force the public to focus attention on the potential social problems. Scandals brush off the shining appearance above and disclose the internal filthy facts. Scandals warn the wrong-doing persons or the persons declining in the fault to sober when they hoping the reputation and benefits very much. Scandals also give an admonishment to the persons who indulge in the power and can not get away.

  Scandals in politics prevent from abusing power once people focus their attention on these problems. The behavior of a political leader is usually supervised by the public. The leader acts as a representative of the government, so people care his behavior much and his credibility depends on the behavior at the most degree. Scandals in politics arouse their indignant and force them focus their attention on the benefit of the public which they think may be destroyed under the effect of scandals. It is the authority of the public to doubt the political leaders and require to reform. Then there may be other restrictions or laws to take effect assuring the society to operate normally.

  Scandals in scientific research stain the purity of science and should be prevented from in order to create a positive scientific atmosphere. The scientist may force to fake the report in some scientific tasks to gain their reputations. Forced by the public opinion, they have to deal with the pressures around in a inappropriate way. Most of the scientists making scandals are those who can not face the embarrassment that can not make any improvement with a great political and finance support and hope. Disclosing these scandals certainly may cause the negative effects, but also may reform the system in the institution. And what’s more, exterminating these scandals both retrieves the wealth of the country and dignity of the scientists.
  
  However, the most significant effect of scandals we expect is warning to do not happen again next time. If scandals arouse the public’s angry seriously and can not be deal with properly, it leads to the excessive demanding attitude of the public and the whole denying of agent’ achievement. At last, there is nothing good both for our society and the people. After all, we disclose scandals in order to reach extermination of scandals.

  So we underline the meaningful importance of the scandal because it really forces the reform of most fields in our society. As it should be used as a means to warn persons to comply with their restrictions, we should not distort the fact purposely to arouse people’ angry and lead to the passive effect.

However, it is really a useful warning when our attention is focused on the problem. 第一段写得有点散，最好把论点明确地抛出来，评卷就一目了然知道你的意图了
