I agree with the assertion that scandals focusing our attention on problems in ways that cannot be replaced, therefore, be helpful and necessary in many cases for helping mass to realize the truth and enhancing the mass supervision over politics, academia , or other areas. Nevertheless, certain limitation over developing and exposing scandals is also essential to prevent chaos and protect privacy.

although we have numerous effective ways to get access to information about politics such as newspaper, Tv reports and so forth.However ,news in these reports are always being polished and concealed from facts, thereby, excluding the masses from knowing the truth. To understand this, one need look no further than the advertisements influenced our life everyday. since the U.S media are mainly relying on the financial support from private business,it always represents the profits of business when giving programs.Besides, the aim of making the advertisements is to persuade more audience to become their customers, so when we watch those shows , we are often informed the positive sides rather than side effects of products. then, scandals about the products' actual effort help us avoid being cheated.  

Another important helpful role scandals play is protecting democracy and preventing corruption,especially in the fields of politics and academia.Without public supervision , governors might selfishly put their own profits in front of national benefits, which inextricably results in corruption and treatens the stability and development of social democracy. Taking attention to the SARS in 2003, if the chinese government was honest and annouce the public how to protect themselves from beening influenced and how to treat people who have become infected, the situation might not develops to be a disaster for global population.In these kinds of cases, the scandals are useful to prevent chaos.

However, although scandals is useful in many situations by annoucing population the true and impossing effective supervision over distinct social fields, we should not overdue the scandals, which might results in  social chaos , and jeopardizing other's privacy. since each human are naturally have character, mind ,or physical drawbacks, too much attention in examming one's natural flaws will bring any hero or herine to ordinary one. scandals considering too much on privacy life , espectially character drawbacks will make the world loss leaders therefore resulting public chaos. Besides , scandals also threaten national security and social safeness if it is undue over social facts that are beening solved by government.for example, the U.S pentagon’s missile defense system experienced a Y2K related malfunction. This fact is withhold from the public until later the day, once the problem had been solved, since immediate disclosure serves no useful purpose and might have result in mass hysteria.

In conclusion, scandals which focus our attention on problems that is not available in other ways, do help people get sense of truth ,stimulating our mediating over social issues ,and help prevent unfair situations , but we should also pay attention when finding and exposing scandals, especially , those probably resulting in chaos and interfering others privacy.
