Issue11:"All nations should help support the development of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems."

The speaker alleges that a university, all nations support, should be built to let students in the process of solving the world’s most persistent social problems. I agree that all the nations should establish a global university for the pose of solving the world’s most persistent social problems. However, to build a global university should pay attention on other things such as the conflict between religious belief and so on.

First, a global university can provide a stage to solve the world's most persistent social problems that the students from different nations would bring diverse cultural and educational perspectives to solve the problems. Everybody from their own country can use their knowledge and cultural to think about the problem. The Chinese saying," making a buggy being a closed door" signifies an attitude that leads to failure. For my view, the nations in the world can benefit from a global university where the students and teachers from different nations can use different points to solve the most persistent social problems.

Second, it can save the nations' money and time that to solve the world's most persistent social problems. In view of increasing speed of transportation and telecommunications, we live in a global village. Interaction and interdependence are no longer a luxury or an option, unless one wishes to be left out and left behind. The students and faculty take their own cultural and educational perspectives to a global university that can make the thing that solve the world's most persistent social problems much easier than the students and faculty solve the problems in their own country. With the students and faculty's knowledge, the world's most persistent problems can be solved with little money and times.

Notwithstanding the benefit of a global university has made, a global university still has some things to be attention. When students and faculty came from different country, they also have different cultural and different religious belief. Thus, it may affect some conflicts in the group. Such as the Islam don't eat pork, and other people don't have this law. In some problems, it may affect some religious problems, and even though may become a conflict. For that, we should pay more attention about the other things that can help us to make the global university develop quickly.

To sum up, it is meaningful for world nations to cooperate with each other in building an international university where teacher and students form all over the world work together for solving the world's most persistent social problems. But to make a university like that has to do a lot of things, such as making every people to live together without conflict and so on. If we solve the things about religious belief and other things, to develop a global university is a grateful proposal.
