I fundamentally agree with the assertion that education will be truly effective when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests each student. However, the speaker extends the assertion to confide the aim of education to satisfy the individual and overlook the common acquirement of each student for a democracy social.

It is true that the assertion is clearly accurate insofar as a striking example that aptly illustrates this point involves the field of university education. It is universally acknowledged that university students should choose different majors to study in some years for their future career according to their individual needs and interests. If all college students do not learn the respective majors in all university professions in spite of their acquirements, then they will not be suitable to the social where different professions acquire different students who attain several of special knowledge. Thus, to college education it is no doubt that education is truly effective only if it meets mostly the personal demands and interests.

But, the assertion is defied generally in that a conspicuous example that aptly illustrates this view involves the area of primary education. It is a scientific fact that most of student should  learn the same courses for many years to help them obtain many fundamental knowledge, such as how to communicate with another, how to calculate, and how to read, so that each can have a basic life and provide  them with a base to continue to study individual knowledge. If primary education is not supplied to every student, then they do not study such same knowledge that they can not communicate with each. For example, how do students with various pronunciations from different education area interflow with each other?

Moreover, considering another aim of education that help a nation form her civilization, it is commonly accepted that student should study the same basic education to accept and pass down the culture tradition so that some civilization have exist for thousands of years on Earth. If a national education is absolutely different and disperse about the civil tradition, then her traditional culture will disappear in many years in that every student is acquainted with individual customs in term of satisfying personal interests.


In sum, if education only attributes to individual acquirement and interests of each student, it will result in shaping a social where people are absolutely unique and have not any intercommunity. Hence ,in democracy social education should not only satisfy personal needs and interests so that they are unique in the future, but also be unified for students in some special time and area so as to form many generality and smrti civilization.
