Whether the human mind always is superior to machines? The speaker claims so, for the reason that human invent machines that are tools of human minds. I fundamentally tend to agree with the assertion. Nevertheless, in my view, in some cases human minds is not superior because of the special characteristics of machines in the course of working for human being.

It is true that the assertion is clearly accurate in that machines are the result of inventions of human minds, which is one of crucial capability to separate human being from machines. For supporting example, one needs look no further than computer, which is one of the largest invention in the 21st and help human being save much time to have a good life. For one thing, as a tool of human minds, computer only can do what human ask him to do and has not any minds like human being. If human being would not ask computer to calculate, paint and play music, then he would do nothing. However, human being will not different from him and think independently for themselves and know what will to be done, why and how to be done. For another, if machines break down in some conditions because of different causes, which is not realized and modified by machines, human minds is the only method to mend machines to make them work once more.

Moreover, it is widely acknowledged, to some extend, that human being can vary themselves, according to human minds and machines invented by human being, and develop civilization, science, society and technology of human being. Consider, for example, machines can not know how to make themselves much better than ever and to create more products for human being. However, human being can make full use of their minds to help themselves make machines better to create much more fortune, happiness and invention for the development of human being. Hence, we can not emphasize the importance of being superior to machines too much.

Under some circumstances, otherwise, it might be counterproductive, in a large sense, to overemphasizing the human being's superior in that in some cases, individuals are not superior to machines. Common sense teaches us, for instance, that it is a mistake to attempt to devalue single machine. It is correct clearly that no man can compare, to calculate a complex mathematic problem, with a computer invented by man for the reason that sometimes man calculates the problem in some thousands of years, while computer would complete in some minutes, even some seconds. Thus about a concrete problem, human minds are not superior to machines, even if machines are tools of human minds.

To sum up, there is little doubt that human minds are superior to machines in that human being is only animal who can think and make invention. Obviously, if human being can not accept that in some conditions the capability of machines is beyond human being, then it is not sensible for human being. Accordingly, on balance the speaker's assertion is fundamentally right.
