31"Money spent on research is almost always a good investment, even when the results of that research are controversial."
研究上的投资几乎总是不错的选择，即使结果具有争议性。

1、          科研可以揭示人类周围的未知世界，为我们面对的难题寻求很好的解决途径。
2、          科研可以满足人类渴望了解自身的愿望，使我们更加了解我们自己。
3、          但是，并非所有的科研都有利于人类的发展。有很多科研具有争议性。
The comprenhensive apply of computer and internet, the successful launch of new satellites，the inventation of coloning technique, the appearance of atomic engery are all from time to time cited as the ecudence that we are in a world greatly effected by new technology. But not all the results of technical researches are beneficial to human beings, so the investiment in research is not always a good choice.
Firstly, research is the exploration of the unknown world for true answers to our questions,and for better solution to our enduring problems. In ancient times, because of the low level of technology, people knew little about the surrouding world so that they could not understand many natural phenomena. In order to explain this phenomena, people brought superstition to their world. Therefore, instead of turning to technique, they would choose to cure their sick babies with superstitious methods, such as praying to God. In the contrary, a sick child will be brought to hosipital in modern society. That because we know a lot about the secrets of diseases with the help of technical research, we know we should seek for help from doctors not God. Only through hard working of scientists, many serious problems we confront today will be solved in better ways.
Secondly, research is also the chief means by which we humans attempt to satisfly our insatiable appetite for knowledge, and our craving to understand ourselves. Just like the longing to know the outside world around us, people also want ot know much about themselves, their body, their brain, their psyche. The research is the only way to get information about such things. The discovery of double-helix structure of DNA is a milestone in the development of biology. People get right answer for the question why parents and their children have so much resemblance.
Thirdly, many research may be controversial and the results of them may bring to people some harm. The inventation of coloning techique is such a case in point. On the one hand, coloning techinque can help some patients to get transplanting organs. It is reported that the organs of coloning pigs can be transplant to human body by which many patients dying of lacking transplanting organs will survive. But on the other hand, coloning technique confronts fierce moral reprochment which is caused by the attemptation of the coloning human beings. Another example is  the research of atomic energy, although it has been helping people in many aspects of daily life, it also do many harm to human beings. The shadow of the explosion of atomic bombs in Japan will lasting for several century.
In conclusion, research is like a sword with two-blades, which can help you cut things and also can hurt you. Although people can benefit from the results of new research, we still should keep clear mind that the new technique may bring harm and try to put them into good use.

总体感觉还好

问题有两个

1)不知道LZ使用的是什么软件在写,是AWP吗,其中的拼音错误有数处,都是误打所致,我改在原词上了,但是象clone这样的词说什么也不能错啊,建议下次发表片在WORD里看看
2)感觉文章的一个问题就是钱这个字说的太少,可能是我比较罗嗦,我写的时候老把给谁钱,该不该给放在第一位,你应该在每段里面多说几个钱就好
