2 It has recently been announced that a new restaurant may be built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer

作文写了一个多小时，俺可是写过GRE的AW的人啊，哎呀，忘的真快。

Restaurant plays an important role in our life, which can save our cooking time, serve rich banquet and afford a place where we can entertain friends. At present, a new restaurant has been announced to be built in our neighborhood, and the construction of a new one would have both positive and negative effects on our community. Overall, I believe the new factory would give us more advantages than disadvantages.

First of all, it is so convenient to find a restaurant near community that we really have no reason to deny that we can enjoy delicious food without either long walking or additional traffic expending is a boon. Most people in our community are usually so busy with their working that they can not find time cooking themselves. The new restaurant would be welcome not only because of the meal it serves but also due to the time it saves. Further more, should the new restaurant be built, it would be the perfect place we used to entertain our friends. After enjoying the delicate food, we can invite our friends to have a visit to our houses. The short distance between house and restaurant would not be spent too much time and a successful visit definitely can improve the friendship. Don't you think the reason quoted above is very persuasive?

Besides, a new restaurant near our community can support our local economy and supply more employment opportunities. The tax paid by the new restaurant can be used to improve our community environment and more hired people would move into our community and bring a population boom. The residents can benefit from all of these changes. Take the real estate price as an example. The price of house in our community would plateaued inevitably, either for the improvement of environment, or because of the increasing demand of houses by the new people. If you consider this problem synthetically, you will accept my opinion.

Admittedly, some people think that many problems would come with the new restaurant, for instance, the more crowded traffic, the less area of the park, the noise produced by the restaurant and so on. Accordingly, I concede that some negative effects of the restaurant would influence our life. Yet, to postpone a new restaurant until we completely eliminate the cons would be to postpone a new one forever; any person who believes otherwise is envisioning an ideal solution which has no negative effects--a vision which amounts to fantasy.

To sum up, if we plan the construction of the new restaurant carefully and try our best to reduce its negative effects, it would bring us much more convenience and boon. It is superficial that to deny the new restaurant relies on some cons which can be easily solved.

Well, to me, the important decision that I made in my life is to pursue a phD degree abroad. After I graduate, I chose to continue my study for a master degree. Now, I will finish my master study soon. Comparing with working in company, I find that to do research is much more suitable for me. Further more, I am major in economics, and the research of economics abroad, especially in US, always keep ahead. To study abroad will be of benefit to my life. In addition, to prepare for applying is hard work. I believed if I can succeed, I can be top in anything.
