Modernization, which points the direction toward which our society progress, is concerned by more and more people nowadays. We tend to overlook the fact that some traditions also mean a lot to our society. Although the conflicts between tradition and modernization do exist, they are not absolutely incompatible.

Admittedly, the conflicts between tradition and modernization inevitably exist in our society, and tradition is often sacrificed when it is in the way of modernization. Modernization, which often associated with urbanization and democratization etc, permeated in every aspect of our everyday lives. There is no doubt that modernization dominates the trend our society advancing and often we need to sacrifices some traditional things so as to maintain the pace of modernization. An illustrate example is the traditional architectures, which are heritage left by our ancestors.  There always some disputes when choices must be made between traditional buildings and modern buildings. People are often enticed by the slogan such as urbanization and industrialization to choose to latter. Consequently, lots of traditional architectures become extinguished during the process of modernization. As mentioned above, the controversy between tradition and modernization can not be exterminated.  

However, certain traditional values, moral attitude etc are very important to us and can not be substituted by modern views. Although we admit that modernization is the destiny our society progress to, we should also cherish some traditional values or morality passed on to us by our precedents. These values such as respecting the elder people, being willing to help others are eternal truth in our society whether it is at present or in the past. Some people claim that we should abandon all the values that people in the past advocate because we are entering into a modern society. This is an extreme action. It is hard to imagine what our society will turn out to be if all the values whether good or not are discarded. It will be an unstable, turbulent place. Therefore, some values or moralities are of significant important to our society.

Moreover, tradition and modernization are not always contradicting each other, they are compatible and can coexist together on certain circumstance. Sometimes when people must choose one out of tradition and modernization, this does not mean there are not alternative choices exist. Take the traditional architecture mentioned above for example, Modernization does not mean destroy all traditional buildings and set up modern one. Sometimes we need to preserve some historical architecture, for they can remind the history of our country and also modern architects can learn some brilliant architect skills from them. We can do some repair or modifications to these historical buildings, then they not only fit in our modern city, but shine light on the landscape of our city. Hence, the tradition and modernization can coexist on certain condition in the modern world.

To sum up, tradition, which is related to the past of human history, contradicts the modernization in some respects, but there are some similarities between them and we should preserve some valuable traditional things and force them more suitable for the modern society.

整体写的还可以，就是第二段有些偏，主体段分析得也不够深入，正面论证比较缺乏，经常是把一句话翻来覆去的说，加强下说理就好多了
