Well, I think school should charge fees from students but not too high, if too high, there would be only a few students can afford to go to school. Charging fees from students have the following advantages: for one thing, schools can use these fees to improve facilities, such as classroom, library and others relevant to students’ daily life. For another thing, school can use these fees to award those students doing well in their study. In this sense, money can be used to inspire student to work harder.

As a saying goes, "every coin has two sides". There may be many people think that since art and music have nothing to do with science, it is no need to require all students to study art and music. However, in my opinion, even if art and music cannot contribute to science, they still have their own values for us.

To begin with, art and music can help us know more about the history. Apparently, directly studying history is a canonic way to know history. But this way may sometimes be boring to students. And at this time, music and art can be used to help student learn history. For example, in ancient China, there are many excellent musicians and artists and they have works relevant to their living times. Thus students can learn history well through these excellent works.

Furthermore, art and music can give us a chance to have a close touch with beauty. As a famous artiest said, "Beauty is everywhere, the reason why we cannot see it because we lack a pair of eyes that can detect beauty". In this sense, music and art can play this role helping us detecting beauty. For instance, being a student, there may be little time that we can use to have a contact with nature, to feel the nature’s beauty, walking in the forest, listening bird songs, seeing blue sky and feeling the river. At this time, we can listen to music and watch art because we can feel nature from them. They can provide a medium for us to feel the beauty. Just imagine: close your eyes, listening to music, and imaging according to what you are hearing, how comfortable it would be?

In addition, art and music can relax us. In some meanings, art and music like spring wind and can blow your tire away. In school, if students should spend all day to study science, then after this day, students would become very tired and, more seriously, generated a feeling of hating study. If that were true, then it is not good for school. However, if school can add some art and music classes, it means that students would not spend all day to study science and would relax when having art and music classes. It is good for students due to students can recover their energy and do better in the following class.

In summary, art and music have their own value for us even they contribute nothing to the development of society. And if we have a constant contact with art and music, then we may feel more comfortable.
