If I have a opportunity to study a subject that I've never had to study, I think history will be my best choice. Because it  helps us understand people and societies, at the same time helps us realize change and cultivate a bility to assess evidence. It is very scareful to a person whose major is natural science-just like me.

In the first place, history provides a storehouse of imformation about how people and society behave which I think it is very interesting and necessary to students. Let us imange, How a country evaluate war when the nation is in peace- unless use historical materials? And when it come into students, we can found out many vivid examples who attained their archievement through hard working to study. With those forerunner, we would not feel alone on the way to success.

Secondly, apart the first reason above, history can also help people know about change and the society we live in came into being. The past causes the present, and to the future. Anytime  we try to find out why something happen- whether a shift in political party dominance in the American Congress, or a war in the Balkans-we have to look for factors that took shape earlier. Thus, the history is a necessary resource. If we want to comprehend what elements of an intuition or a society persist despite change, the answer is also history.

All in all, history is a interesting and useful subject which is sutable for people in every period of life. through studying history, people improve their ability of assess evidence, and through studying history, we can get experience in assesing past examples of change. So, I believe the history subject is my favorest choice if I could have a chance to study.
