According to the speaker's connotation, the destiny of society is determined by the socialization of the children, however, we do not know how to raise children in a proper way in order to pursue a more prosperity society. Nevertheless, further reflection tells me that the writer ignores many practical problems.

First of all, whether children are socialized today determines the destiny of society depends on the purpose of the education. As far as I am concerned, in the present circumstance many universities cherish the competition among the students rather than the corporation of them. Consequently we may perhaps have not yet learned how to raise children. In order to better educate the student, not only the knowledge of natural science should be taught, but also the pupils should learn the morals and rules of the society such the corporation, negotiate, wisdom, adamancy. So it is paramount to adopt a student in all aspects except the science classes.

What's more, nowadays the educationalists in the universities teach more knowledge which only exist in the books rather than the professional training which is useful, however, for a large group of students professional training might be the way to go since well-developed skill, all the factors be equal, can be the difference between having a job and not. Therefore we the students should get more education which will contribute to a better society. If the scholars fail to provide such a education, the result will be a disaster. The students graduated from the colleges can only calculate mathematic formulas on the paper while more complex operations such as computer programming, mechanic drawing and so forth will never be successfully done by them. So in order to meet the standard of the fast developing society it is true that we should learn more about how to raise our descendants.

Quite apart from the professional training, it is deserved to draw our attention that the pupils should learn more things besides their interests. Nowadays a lot of parents cherish good marks more than the development of all aspects of the children. In my opinion, the children should learn mathematics, physics, chemistry as well as the PE, music and so forth. A well-developed student can contribute more to the society than a bookworm. We can image readily that a student who can only get good marks is how useless to the society because he fails to meet the standard of the society. All we should do today is to provide a good environment to the student so as to they can get these education easily.

Simply put, the children should be taught all aspects of the knowledge except how to socialize with other people because the children are the future of the society. We should learn how to raise our descendants properly in order to pursue a brighter future of the society.

这个题目我越看到后面越觉得不对，这才发现我和你理解题意方面相差大了。找到猴哥的书看了中文提纲，“孩子们的成长决定着社会的命运，不幸的是，我们还不知道怎样抚养孩子才能使他们对将来的社会有用”
