With the rapid development of technique, televisions and radios have prevailed among common people. Companying this progress, advertising also gets quick improvement with various kinds. Some people consider that advertising induces customers to buy commodities that are unnecessary for them, while others hold the opinion that throughout advertisements, people can learn more about new products, which may enhance our standard of lives. From personal perspective, advertisements have many benefits, such as offering people latest information about products, reducing the price of commodities like newspaper, TV programs, magazines.
To begin with, from the advertisements of certain products, we can learn more new information, which is beneficial for us to make correct choices. An advertising not only provide people charming aspects of commodities, but also much useful news about them, such as prices, materials, types, colors, as well as functions. We can take Mc Donald as an example. Every year, you can see amount of advertisements introducing their new programs, such as new products, new discounts schemes. From these information, people can learn that what diets Mc Donald can provide and whether it is proper for them to have diet at Mc Donald. At the same time, from their discount activities, people can save some money. Therefore, advertisements are useful for common people.
Moreover, with the income of advertisements, newspaper, televisions, as well as magazines can decline their prices. As you know, the cost of making newspapers, programs of television and perfect content of magazine is vast for them if there are not the incomes from advertisements. At the one hand, manufacturers and merchants can improve their sale of products throughout advertisings. At the other hand, the fee for the advertisements leads to the reducing in price of major media. One small instance is newspaper. People usually can buy one newspaper at very low price. When they open the newspaper, they can find some advertising of commodities. The expense of advertisements complement the lost of cost of newspapers. Thus, common people also can benefit from the advertisements with fees them spend.
However, we can not ignore some negative influences of advertisements. Not all advertisements are useful for common people. Sometimes it is not necessary for people to buy some things, but out of the attractive advertisings, they bus some to try the effects and functions. So people should take their own conditions into consideration, before deciding to something.
