题目：ARGUMENT26 - The following appeared in a memo from the chairperson of the school board in the town of Saluda.

"For the past five years, Mr. Charles Schade has been the music director at Steel City High School, and during that time the school band from Steel City High has won three regional band competitions. In addition, the quality of the music rehearsal facilities and musical instruments at Steel City High has improved markedly over the past five years. Because of such successes at Steel City High, the Saluda school board should hire Mr. Schade to plan and direct the general music education programs for the entire Saluda school system."

In the argument above, the arguer recommends that Mr.Schade should be employed to direct the general music education in the Saluda school for all the students. However, Before  put the school administrator on the notice to this recommendation, following fallacies should be ruled out at first.

The arguer unfairly assumes Mr.Charles was successful in directing music education programs, although during Mr.Charles's working period in Steel City High School(SCHS), school band has won three regional band competitions, the arguer fails to inform us the quality of this competition, it is highly possible that this regional competitions attract little bands to participate because of its low reputation, even this competition is authoritative, there could be other possibilities contribute to this achievement, such as gifted students, high value of school minister and so on. perhaps he did not engage in the training these bands which was organized by students themselves.

Second. even Saluda is really a outstanding music director, the arguer provides no evidence that Schade is superior to original music director in Saluda school, even granted Schade is better, there are lots of differences between general music education programs and music band, such as purpose and contents. for example, music education programs is aimed at teach students something which involves teaching approaches, specific contents, arrangements and so on, but Schade is dedicated in music direction.

In conclusion ,only more evidence is provided, the argument could be persuasive.
