When asked whether you agree or disagree with the saying that the things which are lack of choice is very, very rare, people may find it difficult to come to consensus due to their different background and conflicting value. As far as I am concerned, I am not willing to stand on the side of the author's opinion but insist that although, in most circumstances, people can make choices on alternatives, in some cases, there is only one way left for them.

In the first place, people have to admit that they have no other choices facing some embarrassing situation, and they make the decision in a negative way. The 26th president Abraham Lincoln, was well know for his high moral standard in his decision in emacipationemancipation of slaves and abandoning the law of slavery but few knows that he had no choices in that kind of situation. The primitive condition of the War for the north troop is somewhat pessimistic for the reason that although Lincoln was mercy on south slaves, he was not a decisive revolution advocator. The war fare is not on the side of the north and their troop and the nation is on the line of diminishing. Lincoln realized that he have no choice at that time and must lead the Civil War to revive the destinedestiny of nation. With the help of Black slaves, Lincoln finally won the war rescuing the nation's fate and emancipating the south slaves. Comprehending that well-accepted fact Lincoln is the hero of Civil War as well as the discrimination and democracy, he was force to do it because, if we have to list the alternatives, he had the choice of to live or to die.

When discovered that the battery of the newly produced notebook computer has fault and in the danger of exploiting, the company stop the product quickly and announce to reallocate all the batteries. This decision not only rescued the fame of this foreign corporation but also accelerated the credibility in customs. They made the right choice.

In summary, I agree that although something has no choices, most one have alternatives while some leader choose the right one and some choose the bad, but it is likely that people will never be able to arrive at the same conclusion on this controversial issue. However, taking into account all the dimensions in the above analysis might be a decisive step out of this dilemma.
