When asked what is the most effective way in communicating an idea or value to large groups of people, in images or languages, people may find it hard to come to consensus due to their different background and conflicting values. As far as I am concerned, I agree with both aspects of the author's issue and advocate that images and language are all effective methods.
The invention of camera and movie broadcaster deeply changes people's ways of suking inabsorbing knowledge from the originally boring books to more enimatedanimating images. The movie, which is corporated fromcomposes  series of images, can express an idea and value to audiancesaudiences and even move and shock them deeply. The vogue American TV series Friends is popular among youngsters within the States and even all around world. It is attractive not only due to its humorous episode and charming actors and actresses and its positive meaning within the series -- audiancesaudiences are moved by the enthusiastic characteristic of actors living attitude, assiduous work facing difficulties and the kindness of sharing joy and pain with friends. The similar case is in the movie Brave Heart. Audiancesaudiences are moved into tear by the scene that WalliceWallis, the actor, shouted "Freedom" to comrades before he lost his life, in the hope that fellows can finished the work he cannot complete. In the word, images including movies are a productive way to express an author's idea to the large groups of people.
On the other hand, the power of language is unreasonable to be neglect. On European philosopher once said, language is power. Martin Luther King, Jr is famous for its developing idea in the struggling for freedom for black slaves during the period of Civil War but he is also a effective oraterorator. King get the Doctor of Philosophy degree at Boston University and he get enormous knowledge which is the foundation of being a oraterorator. He lead the American Civil Rights Movement and take a speech, "I have a dream", on the steps of Lincoln Memorial. His voice echo haunting on the sky of the States -- "I have a dream that one day my four children will live in a nation that they are judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." -- which encouraged thousands of people, especially former slaves, fought for freedom and democracy. Although he was assesinatedassassinated some years after, King engrave his name on the Emancipation Movement history, and also, in the heart of American descendents.
The similar situation happened in Britain that the former Administer Churchill, the receptor of Nobel Peace Prize in 1952, is a famous political leader and citizen encourager. In the danguousdangerous condition in the World war two, which German regiment are conquering whole Europe and Britain is their next aim, Churchill went to his troop and gave a speech -- I have nothing to devote than courage, confidence, tear and sweat. His regiment successfully defencedefense their island, almost the only unseigedunseized place in Europe. We cannot underestimate the charming characteristic of Churchill as an orator and it gave his regiment confident and strength.
In summary, I struggle to illustrate that other than images, language is the also effective way to express value to large groups of people. It is likely that people would never make the same conclusion as mine. However, taking into account all the dimensions discussed in the above analysis might be a decisive step out the dilemma.
