The data result seems to be questionable without valid evidence from scientific studies. The arguer didn't show us any clue to deduct the process of how the data was got. An effective study must possess the features of credibility, generalizability, and objectivity. For example, is the sample sufficient enough to enable us to make statistics? Have the result been eliminated from personal biase or influence from other environmental factors? Not ensuring all these validities, the study can not evaluated as effective and the data information seems to been unsustainable.
Furthermore, the auguer indicates their country should also encourage farmers to cultivate this new variety of rice rather than some of their traditional crops on the basis of the successful experience of its neighboring state. It is greatly possible that the climate or the geographical condition is very suitable for that kind of new crop to grow in neighboring country, while the new seeds may not be adaptable to their country. Failing to address these additional factors strongly weakens the argument.
Finally, the arguer states that the employment of this kind of new crops may increase the income of farmers and improve the whole country's balance of trade because of the inceasing products. The statement is oblivious to other important factors influencing the economics apart from the product benefits. Even if this, the cost is what we can not neglect. The farmers can not afford the heavy load of expensive cost, and consequently they may give up the new crops. Absent the addtional information of the cited case, the evidences lend no credible supprt to the conclusion.
In summary, the auguer jumps to the conclusion that we should employ the new crops instead of our traditional ones like neighboring country to enhance the national economics strength. To make the argument stronger, the stater should include more specific and direct evidence to prove the truely benefit and intersets by bring into the new products. Without such infrmation, the argument is pure speculation and nothing more than a statement of the arguer's opinion.
